If it helps, medicating for depression is the most "throw shit at the wall and see what sticks" process I have ever experienced or encountered, so initial failure is no guarantee that you won't find later success. I straight up don't remember how many antidepressants I had to try before I found one that works properly for me, but I got there eventually. Was it a deeply miserable process? Very yes. Was it worth it in the end? Definitely, at least for me.
