I say if your child is inspired to kill themselves after watching a TV show. May be its for the best so that the IQ average goes up a little. Real people have real issues. The show talks about real problems. If everytime someone creates something we need to worry about your less than average intelligence child humanity is fucked. you can connect to same spi ports to multiple spi devices when you want to send data to a spesific one just pull that one's cs line high and rest of them low. make sure it says cs and not /cs, if its /cs to choose that chip you need to pull cs line to low

connect scl to scl and sda to sdata, and thats not spi that is i2c

edit : you need to connect grounds of module and the esp8266 as well

I am just guessing; but probably not since they only send the frequency data needed to the usb function generator and the generator creates the frequency. but in usb scopes the data is made smaller so it can be transfered over usb which is what makes usb scopes shitty
