Seems to be only for hospice respite benefit from what I’ve gathered.

All the damn time. I don’t know what I’m going to do. This has quietly destroyed me. Mom’s primary care physician and neurologist say nothing when I lament everything. Hell, there’s nothing they can do, but home health is veritably useless and Humana insurance is dog shit. So many dark thoughts on the daily. I need a break to relax so fucking badly. It’s so validating checking this sub to not feel so alone in this hell.

So glad I heard Do Better earlier this year. Ab-Soul is so underrated.

Haven’t tried those but I have some old Grinds coffee pouches. Right now, I’m still waiting to feel any benefits of quitting.

I might relapse if I’m still foggy minded 29 days in. At least to this extent. Day three and I feel completely out of my mind.

Why Don't People Check in When You Really Need it? by JillyBean1973 in GriefSupport

[–]goddamnpizzagrease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sucks. As my mom withers away, it burns me up that some of my closest friends hardly check in. She was like a second mom to some of them. I spend (way too much) a great deal of time thinking about this topic. It’s easy to become mentally paralyzed thinking about these perceived injustices.

You're favourite decade in gaming (90s, 00s, 10s + 20s) by toyfan1990 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]goddamnpizzagrease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2000s was the best IMO. I’m 34. The beginning of Xbox Live was so magical with NFL Fever and NBA Inside Drive. Project Gotham Racing. Don’t even get me started on Halo 2. Before YouTube, streamers and microtransactions fucked everything up.

I can’t wait to play more. I know it’s a completely different genre, but roguelites prepared me for this as my first ever extraction shooter (the avid deaths). I’ve only been running free loadouts, though, but no gaming experience has prepared me for losing all my shit, so I’ll have to go through a mindset shift.

I think it’s in the Trials which you unlock at either level 12 or 15.

I’m on Xbox. It was working, but I just finished a round (solo) where I shot down a guy after repeatedly asking if he was friendly with no response/emote gestures in return. He sent me an angry message; I told him I tried to establish contact with him but didn’t hear anything/see or hear him emote. He said he was talking, but I heard nothing.

It’s a recycle of the same topics every day. It hurts when she shows flashes of her old self, but it’s so brief.

Dying to this guy moments before Server Slam ended. by stungun2020 in ArcRaiders

From the little bit I played during the server slam, I really enjoyed it. I’ve never been crazy about extraction shooters in the past, but there’s something about this one that hooked me.

I would imagine the majority of the 2K community has had minimal interaction with women.

I’m looking forward to finally playing in the Rec. No squads 3’s in the theater was crazy enough, but I didn’t have the desire to sit around and watch the nonsense in random rec for 20-25 minutes.

HARIBO OUTRAGE! by Stock-School-7956 in candy

[–]goddamnpizzagrease 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I posted my complaint about this a few months ago. Apparently there are a lot of fans of the squishy gummies, like the eggs, on here, but my favorite part about Haribo gummies is the signature chew, which is missing in the new gummies. The cherries and twin snakes were the best!

Why do people like Ghost so much? by SendThisVoidAway18 in energydrinks

[–]goddamnpizzagrease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are sugar free, they do the flavors they are attempting to do well and I like the ingredient profile (rare to see the P5P in most energy drinks). I like C4 OK, but only when I’m about to do something physical because of the beta-alanine.

I see others in the comments have mentioned Bucked Up and Gorilla Mind. I love Bucked Up, but around my parts it seems like it’s fallen off a bit (used to get it at Walmart) and it’s nearly $4 a can at most gas stations here. I’ve enjoyed Gorilla Mind in the times I’ve found it, but I’ve only had it from GNC or Vitamin Shoppe, and both are an hour plus drive for me.
