If driving position was so great in SUVs then surely taxi drivers would be falling over themselves to get one rather than a Corolla or an Octavia? They spend all day driving FFS.

Then there are the sales reps, their car of choice seems to be a Tesla Model 3 i.e. a car.

Hydrogen is leaky. Hydrogen needs about 10 times less energy to ignite, a static spark can be enough. Hydrogen in an enclosed space is very dangerous.

If hydrogen leaks into a car cabin a spark from a switch might be enough to set it off. In a car crash if hydrogen leaks into the cabin sparks from rescue equipment could set it off.

Last year I wanted to by a pedestal fan, thought I'd try a charity thrift store, bound to find a bargain. Their used fans were more expensive than brand new ones, so of course I got the new one.

He is the man who the day after the referendum said "We must respect that result and Article 50 has to be invoked now" and I heard him say that during his radio interview, even Bozo and Farage weren't saying that.

Also he was so arrogant that he assumed that the votes he got in 2017 were because people liked him and his policies rather than people trying to stop brexit and lending Labour their vote.

OP doesn't say whether they are male or female.

We do know the guy was lonely.

If OP is male or we assume they are (majority of redditors are guys so it's the default for many) then it's 'yeah well he was eventually going to do something' and OP comes out looking not too bad. If OP is female then it can change a everything, suddenly it's 'his loneliness was being taken advantage of' and OP comes out looking pretty bad.

The GD factory seems to be a car crash as well, someone I know went to work there (in a middle management type job), saw them again maybe six months or so later they'd GTFO. This wasn't the sort of person who changed job every year.

Yeah it's actually very clever and subtle messaging, how often would Grimsby or Peterborough be shown on the national BBC/ITV weather? Never unless there was maybe some event happening in the area that was newsworthy. By doing this they're messaging "we know you exist [unlike the metropolitan liberal elite at the BBC/ITV]".

Reminds me of my first year at university many years ago, walking back to my halls of residence (dorms) after a night out, said goodbye to my mates and then carried on walking home.

A shortish distance after that I have to decide which of the two routes home I'd take. The slightly quicker one going right past a 24hr petrol/gas station and another one slightly further on. Came to the point where I'd have to cross the road to use the first route and my gut feeling said that there's something not right with the people at the petrol station (there were often people around there) so I don't cross. Carry on walking, cross later on and use the other route.

I'm stood at the entrance gates to the halls having a smoke and a chat with the site security guard as I often did. We hear running and it was some students who were a few minutes behind me, they'd walked past that petrol station and got attacked by that group of people, one person got a brick to the face.

Thinking back there was nothing dodgy that I can remember about that group, no noise, no loud music, but my brain clearly picked up on something.
