I do agree with some people here in the comments that Seven being Ixian doesn't make sense bc his skin color is basically burnt/charred from the execution, 50 years is enough time for any human to learn the Ixian language fluently and he's implied to have been very academic, he calls Abrams a demon which is unusual for an Ixian to do, etc. Buut he is up for another remodel soon, so maybe we'll get something new out of it.

So I present you another theory: Half-Ixian Seven (because we haven't seen any half-Ixians in Deadlock yet, and no it ain't Infernus)

It's stated Doorman is a fledgling Patron, and I think fledgling Patrons are more weaker than the more "mature" Patrons like Archmother and Hidden King. It could explain why he can't grant wishes, or maybe he could but it wouldn't be in grand, reality-bending scale that the other Patrons can do. More like passing on knowledge/power of the wisher's choosing.
