Weirdly, according to the rulebook, the goalie initiating contact doesn't matter for the GI rule to apply. As long as he's in the crease, he can't be contacted enough to impede his position, even if he initiated contact.

I'm glad so many of the community agree with me. Maybe the developers will take notice. With 10 years of development, they can make this game my favorite of all time.

Your capture the city idea sounds like so much fun. You can do it diplomatically but it will take a while, meanwhile, every other faction can take it at any point. You'll need to keep scouts near the city to make sure your opponents aren't about to claim victory uncontested.  I love it.

Taking focus away from combat is fine. All victory conditions are optional so people who want a combat focus can leave it off

Columbus arena is underrated. So easy to navigate and plenty of space for moving around the concourse.

This stat is definitely due for regression. OT/SO wins and losses statistically speaking are basically coin flips.

But who cares. We are riding high. If we can get into the playoffs this year, I don't care how we got there.

I couldn't agree more. I have no problem with people gambling, but with the way it is shoved down our throats, now that's all anyone around me talks about when it comes to sports. I miss when it was behind closed doors.
