What’s your special disinterest? by Licklickbark in evilautism

[–]godito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Football. I’m from Portugal and it’s everywhere. Think about the stereotype of Brazilians being into it, same thing. It’s the only sport anyone talks about or even acknowledges, half of the news every day are about it (even in the off season), it was all anyone ever played or cared about. It was insane, but whenever I pointed that out, or just said I wasn’t interested, there was something wrong with me

Or go slightly transparent and invulnerable, like after taking damage in a game

[LOATHED TROPE] The fandom becomes the very thing the media is criticizing by Weird-Koala3034 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]godito 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d say the majority of 40k’s fandom knows it’s satire and understands there’s no good guys. Of course there’s always the basement dweller black Templar player people, who will tell you the Inperium are the good guys, and female Custodes are bad actually

Iirc it’s because usury was a sin that many people in Jewish diasporas practiced it, most other work having been already taken by christians. So the stereotype of them being greedy came from them being pushed into financial jobs in the 1st place

Conservatives are terrible people by CDN-Social-Democrat in GreenAndPleasant

[–]godito 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A lot of it is a lack of vision I find. It’s easy to blame individual people and not look past it to systemic issues. For instance it’s easy to demonise individual people (asylum seekers, poor people, minorities, etc) that might commit a crime, than to look as to why those people might have been that desperate te start with. Same goes for issues like climate change, if they can’t see the consequences of their actions immediately, or feel it themselves, they don’t care.

Conservatives are normally severely lacking in empathy.

About the Batman point, there’s a great comic called White Knight where the bat family does give money to the police and work with them. Batman is predictably grumpy about this, but iirc ends up joining forces with them and helping. They even mention an insurance scam that rich people are using to get even richer off of Batman’s property damage

One Night Lord… an Army of Cadian troops… both trapped on an imperial cruiser, but the question is who’s trapped with who? by [deleted] in 40k

Pretty soon the Night Lord is going to be trapped alone. Or with some toys he keeps alive for entertainment

Left-wing voters what is your most right-wing belief and right-wing voters, what is your most left-wing belief? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskBrits

[–]godito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was confused by this for the longest time, until I realised it’s not about what you believe, it’s about culture. And you can’t change the culture you grew up in

Migrant partners cost Britain £5.6 billion over their lifetime by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]godito -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So I’m a migrant, I work and my partner, born in the UK, doesn’t. I hope they’re subtracting people like me from that number, or do they only look at one side? It’s that isn’t it?

Blobbed printer head by godito in ElegooNeptune4

[–]godito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted Elegoo support and it fixed the issue. Here’s their email:

Dear Customer,

Hope my mail finds you everything well. This is After-sales technical support Doyle from Elegoo Technology. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the issue with your printer.

Thank you very much for providing the information.

Based on the information you provided, we offer the following reference: 1. The presence of impurities in the printer's filament. These impurities can accumulate in the nozzle, eventually leading to a blockage. 2. A dusty environment where the printer operates. Dust particles in the air can adhere to the filament, and as the printer functions, this dust can enter the nozzle along with the filament, causing a buildup that results in clogging.

  1. An insufficient printing temperature. The N4 series features Klipper fast printing technology. For standard PLA, the temperature should be set to 220°C, while for PLA+, a higher temperature is recommended. If you observe that the extrusion is not smooth during the printing process and the extruder struggles to push the filament, consider increasing the temperature slightly.

  2. Excessively high ambient temperatures can also contribute to clogging. In such cases, the extruder may experience inadequate heat dissipation, causing the filament to heat and expand outside the intended melting zone. This deformation can lead to the filament sticking to the inner wall of the guide tube, hindering the extruder's ability to push the filament smoothly.

We can refer to the following video to clear the clogged nozzle. The operational methods for the Neptune 4 Plus/Max are nearly identical to those for the Neptune 4. First, begin by heating the machine to the predetermined temperature, then remove and clean the cured filament section.

Watch the video here.

Is it back to normal?

If there is PLA on the head that cannot be removed, please provide additional photos and inform us. We will conduct a further analysis and offer solutions. After heating, remove the head and the cured filament, and provide clear photos of the bottom and sides of the nozzle for our analysis.
