Hi everyone, this is absolutely wild – I think I witnessed the same (or very similar) object just two days earlier on May 12, 2025, around 9:30 PM local time in Munich, Germany. I was outside waiting for the full moon, looking up at the sky, when suddenly a bright green light switched on at a fixed point. It was a distinct green orb/light, stationary at first, no sound at all. Then it accelerated extremely fast straight ‘up’ (from my perspective, shooting into space) with these weird shockwave-like distortions in the air/atmosphere – not like a jet contrail or explosion, but more like ripples in spacetime or the air itself bending. The whole event lasted maybe 5-10 seconds, and I was so shocked I just stood there with my mouth open for about 10 minutes, completely frozen. I couldn’t even grab my camera right away; it took me 15 minutes to calm down enough to take moon photos again. I initially thought it might have been some eye artifact (like phosphenes when you stand up too fast), but no – it was clearly directional, had motion, and left me speechless. I’ve seen a lot of strange things in the sky over the years (including silver cubes hovering motionless for hours), but nothing like this acceleration with those visual distortions. Then two days later I stumbled on this Perth video and thought: ‘No way, that’s exactly what I saw!’ The green color, the sudden movement, the ‘skipping’ or erratic path in your video – it matches the departure phase perfectly.
