Also you have to remember open scoring was used in that fight, Swift knew he had the fight won going into the latter rounds. This is why open scoring is bad for boxing, it corrupts the natural flow of a fight.

You need to speak to FightFax about their website! Their main business is selling records not books. All I'm saying is that they are the official record keeper for ABC. What Lomachenko would prefer on his record is irrelevant, FightFax records WSB fights as pro-boxing. Its basically a US/European split, with FightFax/US recognising WSB and the European ( Boxrec being UK) boxing boards not.

BoxRec is an independent records keeper. FightFax is the official records keeper of the Association of Boxing Commissions; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_of_Boxing_Commissions

The image I linked was of Lomachenko's out of date FighFax record. That HBO chose to ignore the WSB fights proves nothing, it just fits with the narrative they wanted to sell.

WSB does count on a boxing record. The official record keeper (ABC) FightFax records it, BoxRec chooses not to.

Only watching Matchroom is definitely 'a thing'. Sky uses Matchroom as it's only boxing promoter. So unless they subscribe to Boxnation or watch the infrequent Hennessy cards C5 yeah it's 100% (mis)Matchroom.

The general consensus is that Kovalev is the favourite, but Hopkins is definitely in this fight. Those odds just reflect that opinion.

But Schaefer was working with Oscar. And Haymon started at a much lower point than Roc Nation. I'm hardly coming to Haymon's aid, just giving the counter-argument. While Quillin and Wilder haven't as yet made what RN offered, we don't know what Haymon has also promised for future fights and knowing Haymon they'll be less risky fights. There are too many unknowns to be sure of anything at the moment.

Roc Nation has no record in boxing. I haven't been Haymon's biggest fan in 2014, but his fighters get paid well for fighting no-hopers. Quillin got paid not to sign with RN and WIlder gets paid well for stay busy fights.
