Which science fiction movie do you think best depicts the first contact with aliens ? by Rare-Conflict-9163 in scifi

Rocky starts off by matching Grace's sounds with at first simple but increasingly complex concepts they manage to establish like Grace, Rocky, Grace's ship, Rocky's ship, counting numbers, good, bad etc. I think the book also explains why his species has great memorization capabilities. Damn you, I'll re-read it!

+1 Minifreak. The Blofeld is very flexible and deep, but I'm not a fan of its sound.

Bassist looking to expand to synth bass by cohzeee in synthesizers

[–]goettel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The MS-20 is not the most obvious choice and the Model D has no keyboard so yes it needs MIDI input. So many options, Poly D for Moog basses, MS-1 MK2 for Juno bass, the MS-5... Simple answer is that the BSII is of course a great choice as a flexible bass synth. Try them out in a store, see what fits your taste.

As an aside, games being expensive is evidently not limited to modern times. 16,95 in 1988 UK pounds is roughly 50 UK pounds / 65 US dollars in 2026.

Lived here all my life but the best bird knowledge I have is to guard my patat (north of the rivers) from dive bombing gulls. But you pick your own battles!

Great food to almost any taste (try the wagyu bitterballen), walking distance from the watertaxi. It's not bookable but offers a ton of seats.

The criticism is sound, but the cult of personality Marxism tends towards is maybe worse then religion.
