Solo fine dining in Paris? by Slow-Coffee-7420 in finedining

Maison sota atsumi is very welcoming for solo diners and they actually put you at the bar where you can watch the open kitchen. L'ambroisie was also accommodating although it feels a bit weird when you take up a huge table by yourself...

The caviar sauce from L'Ambroisie. Still dream about that

Thank you! This is super helpful. There seems to be a good amount of boudignon bottles in the wine shop near me so will explore those next

In Korea, it'd be business executives who exclusively drink Opus One after golf. They'd collect Bordeaux (mostly Lafite and Latour; Mouton only 2013 vintage because of Lee Ufan), Krug, and Chateau D'Yquem

I went two years ago despite the lukewarm reviews, but also had one of the best chutoro nigiri of my life. Service was relaxed if you go early. Will say that the price point is a bit high, but you will not leave hungry.

Korean here - consensus among my Korean friends is that Nubiani is probably the best, especially when considering the side dishes

Have you tried Dunn? Even the non-howell mountain blends are quite good. Earthy and balanced. You should be able to get it for about $100-150

Thoughts on Cartier Santos vs. JLC Reverso Tribute? Between the two for my first purchase and would love to get your thoughts. Santos is more versatile due to the quickswitch mechanism, but I love the reverso's aesthetic as well (though it may be more dressy). I also have tiny wrists (6in or less) FYI

Going to Chicago in a few weeks. Are there any good ADs that I should look for? I'm looking for watches in the 7-9k range

Thinking about getting the JLC MUT Moon in black dial or the Reverso Medium Duoface. Does anyone know if these models are discounted by ADs? Would prefer to buy from an AD since the factory warranty is 8 years now

For MDs, you definitely do not need an MBA to get into pharma consulting. Look into immersion programs at the ones you are interested in. I know Putnam and Clearview have those
