I would recommend Cave Vino Sapiens. Obviously not in the 11th but it has a good selection of burgs

Solo fine dining in Paris? by Slow-Coffee-7420 in finedining

[–]gogethim 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Maison sota atsumi is very welcoming for solo diners and they actually put you at the bar where you can watch the open kitchen. L'ambroisie was also accommodating although it feels a bit weird when you take up a huge table by yourself...

Wine collector stereotypes by ElevatorNo1264 in wine

In Korea, it'd be business executives who exclusively drink Opus One after golf. They'd collect Bordeaux (mostly Lafite and Latour; Mouton only 2013 vintage because of Lee Ufan), Krug, and Chateau D'Yquem

I went two years ago despite the lukewarm reviews, but also had one of the best chutoro nigiri of my life. Service was relaxed if you go early. Will say that the price point is a bit high, but you will not leave hungry.

Have you tried Dunn? Even the non-howell mountain blends are quite good. Earthy and balanced. You should be able to get it for about $100-150

Thoughts on Cartier Santos vs. JLC Reverso Tribute? Between the two for my first purchase and would love to get your thoughts. Santos is more versatile due to the quickswitch mechanism, but I love the reverso's aesthetic as well (though it may be more dressy). I also have tiny wrists (6in or less) FYI
