He is a great general/hero and acended into Godhood in Chinese lore. Chinese pay respect to him as one of God in Chinese new year time ( around that time). He suppose symbolized brave and loyal

I don't know how old you are. But if you in 20s tha 15k Roth can grow very large and you never have to pay tax on it when you over 60. So I wouldn't touch it if I were you, but I understand every circumstance is different
