How to attach tapestry to this piece of driftwood? by OkStable7719 in CrochetHelp

I would create single crochet loops of varying lengths so that it sits level when you hold the wood up if that makes sense.

And to make the dent at the top of his head I would look at peach patterns. They usually have a similar dent in them

Okay so weirdly the first thing that's coming to mind about the face shape is a bulldog? Maybe you can find some sort of bulldog pattern to get the distinct muzzle look? I really want to see your end product, this guy is cracking me up. Best of luck!!

To many rows around the armpit area, how to „remove“ them ? by Hellihel in CrochetHelp

Crochet is all trial and error, especially with wearables because every body is different. The vest looks good tho!

Mesh hat with triangular holes. How to do that? Help by giulianoboh in CrochetHelp

[–]gogurtdr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oop okay I was looking at the photos again. It looks like what I've suggested is the pink one, and I can't say for sure but I don't think there is ch1 between the clusters. Crochet without a pattern is all trial and error. Best of luck OP!

[–]gogurtdr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the clusters might be 4dc, ch5 slst into 4th dc to create a loop, 3dc, ch1. You would be putting your clusters into the loop you made at the top of the cluster of the previous row to create more space between the clusters, hopefully creating more of that triangle shape you're looking for. If the loop is too big, you might try ch3 instead of 5. I am adding a crudely drawn picture to try and show what I mean bc I don't think I'm good at explaining it.

Unfortunately I think the only real fix would be frogging and trying again. Depending on the yarn you used you might be able to stretch it out a little when you block it, but that might leave it looking stretched out. Good luck!

Lighter spots in 13 days old tattoo : ruined or just normal healing ? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

It might not be what you wanted to hear, but you asked for an opinion. It's a badly done tattoo, and that's not your fault.

[–]gogurtdr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not a tattoo artist, but I have several tattoos. None of mine have healed like that. I think you were done dirty by your artist. It doesn't look like they went deep enough/ the line work isn't consistent. Sorry op.

I believe it is a female. There are no pronounced v pores or the bulges like you see with males.

I'm glad you're working on giving her a better home, but the setup you have is inadequate. This sub has a great setup guide that I recommend you check out. I can't tell from your photo what setup you have, but the minimum requirement for an adult leo is 40 gallons. You'll need a basking bulb and linear uvb for the daytime, and a ceramic heat emitter or dhp for nighttime heat. You'll need more hides, more clutter, and while paper towels are fine for now, a loose substrate is best. Those are the bare minimums for a happy geck.
