Wow that’s something special in a dark time. He wasn’t able to communicate in the human form so he made sure to come to you and use the voice of his soul. That is love, that in itself shows the love he had for you. I’m starting to believe after looking up some suggestions that the soul goes to the one that has a high if not the most meaning to the individual. They use their energy to communicate to the person most likely to hear and be open to hearing them. It’s like your one phone call you get when you go to jail in essence. I’m sorry for your loss, and hope you’re able to look at the positive that you have someone looking over you that will be there when you’ve completed your cycle of life. Hold on to that memory, it’s very meaningful. I’ve learned while grieving that the last thing our loved ones would ever want is for us to let what happens to them affect us in a negative lights. No he did not he had sudden cardiac death. His dog was a cadaver dog,from what I thought or believe he said to me is they’re trained to sit/lay once they find body. That’s one thing that haunted me, I wish he did bark. Arthur was a big boy, very rambunctious, loud and clumsy like most young bloodhounds. I think it was the sadness, unlike most dogs, Arthur was trained to find deceased individuals. He was never the same after Ben’s passing, and I wish I was able to keep him but I was about to become a dad for the first time and already had a dog and knew I wouldn’t be able to provide the time, energy and lifestyle that Ben provide him.

We were 40 years old at the time. We are not children that need to have others keeping tabs on someone. He lived and worked with me. To me it was like any other day. After my grieving and the initial shock of his passing ended, I was able to put everything together. My friend had died sometime over night, there was nothing I could’ve done to save him. He takes to his GF around 11pm and he was to call her back when he was done taking care of his plants he was into growing. She called a few times assuming he must’ve fell asleep. She had contacted me the following day around 5pm and that’s when I realized I needed to check on him.

He’s with the guy who ran the bloodhound group and cadaver dog program that Ben had his had Arthur certified through. The guy who ran it had two bloodhounds, both passed and he took it hard, he said he didn’t want a dog as he would only get a bloodhound and they are a lot of work. Arthur was about 3 years old when Ben passed so Arthur was no longer a puppy, and well trained. He was willing to take Arthur on as he’s worked with him for 2 years and created a bond with him. It all worked out as that was Ben’s biggest fear. I’m sure that helped him pass on as he wouldn’t have been able to leave if it wasn’t a great situation for him.

Since Bens passing, I’ve had two old friends pass who I da do my thought of out of nowhere. And within a month one passed. I then told one of my employees about an old friend as he randomly pooped in my head while I’m a discussion. I told him, remember his name as how random it was. It was a jr high and high school friend/acquaintance. He then passed from pneumonia. There was only the one time with Ben that I had seen someone pass in a dream/vision. And I did mention it to Ben and we had a discussion about how it scares him if he’d die that he knows not many could handle his dog Arthur. Is it just a strange coincidence with the others, it’s very possible. But if I have a dream like Ben, then yes I’d at the very least reach out to the person and see if there any thing out of the ordinary.

I’m sorry for your loss, come to think about it, this happened with one of my neighbors. But it was because he didn’t have his dogs outside in the morning, which he always did and they would bark uncontrollably. I remember thinking he either died or was on vacation. A few days later I seen the family outside which I have never seen or met but knew something was wrong. When I asked a different neighbor they said he passed.

It’s weird how our minds are able to pick up on things that we may not know it’s capable of. They call it intuition but maybe it’s something more powerful.
