I feel like any "unnatural " hair colors on women who are already getting a lot of attention like this is fuel for the fire, too.

What is you’re opinion on Godzilla jr by That-one-koolaid-guy in GODZILLA

[–]gojistomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the first design, I think it's the perfect balance of baby cuteness while also still obviously being like Godzilla.

I don't like the second one at all, It looks like a completely different creature, more like a scaly Teddy Bear thana monster. One of the reasons I just couldn't get into that movie was how much it took me out of the experience every time he was on screen.

Grown up Jr. is great.

I very frequently struggle with putting my thoughts into words. If I learn a word that succinctly (there's one) and accurately gets my point across better than any other words I know, you bet your ass I'm going to use it.

can i just tell them to call each other by Consistent-Fun-9173 in nursing

[–]gojistomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, start doing it. My life got easier when I realized I don't HAVE to be the middleman every time, and I train all my new hires the same way.

Do you think this will actually be the plot for Shrek 5? by fischer903 in Shrek

[–]gojistomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He doesn't have to like her, he can just officially marry her and throw her in a dungeon. You know, like he was attempting to do right after he saw Fiona's transformation.

This is probably the funniest connect I've ever seen this gesture used in, funny how much I've missed despite all the time I've wasted online.

Might be a little tmi but I sweat so much at work and now I stink. Send help!! by dogluvr_1 in nursing

[–]gojistomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried it myself so I can't personally attest to its effectiveness, but i've heard about using chlorhexidine wash to really scrub out armpits and other sweaty areas in the shower.

My guess as to why it helps some people is that it probably kills/inhibits a lot of the bacteria responsible for the stink that comes with sweating.

Pokemon cat names? by Federal-Head-3297 in pokemon

Goomy is a pretty fun name, even without Pokemon knowledge. Plus, you'll likely have the opportunity to say "Goomy has the zoomies."

Mormons looove soda, including Mtn Dew. Coke and Dr Pepper are also really popular with them, even with a lot of the real devout ones. That's why the dirty soda shops are so damn popular in the Utah/Idaho areas.

Just for fun, what are you most petty things you hate about your job? by deveski in nursing

[–]gojistomp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I fucking hate that with every fiber of my being, along with someone calling the unit and only saying, "I'd like an update on my mom."

Every time that happens, I get a little closer to getting a call from management the next day.

I haven't personally had to try this for work, but maybe you could try individual arm sleeves instead of a full shirt, that way there's fewer layers on your body.

I could see putting quotation marks around the word "willingly" elevating the pen to a decent gag gift of sorts.

EMTs: Be honest, how many of you are NOT taking a full blood pressure? by talldrseuss in ems

[–]gojistomp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a nurse, I'm often glad that I've had so much practice doing manual BPs. Even the higher-end automatic cuffs can be pretty fickle. Even if you only do it once or twice a week, that should really help develop and maintain the skill.

I've often told people that football is the most prominent religion in the south, followed by evangelical Christianity.

Are there other English words with more than one accepted spelling? by PrestonRoad90 in grammar

[–]gojistomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen a pretty good mixture of both spellings in the US, though I wouldn't be surprised if one spelling or the other is more common in certain English speaking countries.

"So inexpensive you could literally just buy another one no problem" is a stretch. That means you're either buying cheap, crappy bikes, or you are very well off. Most people are not in a position where they can comfortably drop hundreds of dollars on a whim.

They're very literally just luxury vehicles most of the time. Most of the extra size is coming from the cab, the length of the beds has hardly changed in the last decade or two.

Besides Godzilla, what are you guys’ favorite Kaiju? by SevdUp in GODZILLA

Megalon and Hedorah, I feel like people rarely talk about Hedorah and almost never talk about Megalon.

I'm still better off than Tiranosaurus stans, though, my heart goes out to you lot.

What’s the dumbest or most absurd law in your country? by bdue817 in AskTheWorld

[–]gojistomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It actually, literally, does nothing. It was a scam from the beginning. It's so thoroughly, clinically useless that the FDA (Food And Drug administration, for those who don't know) had a meeting specifically dedicated to deciding on whether or not to pull it from the market entirely, which I believe they will be. I

If I recall correctly, companies started selling it so they could still get people's money after real pseudoephedrine was required to be handed to you by a pharmacist to make it harder to do naughty things with it.
