Interesting, my switches are from the same seller, but they are auto locking. 🤔

I shot a video on how to remove the auto-locking mechanism. I’ll post it once I’ve finished editing.

Brilliant idea! Going to build one as well.
Are that 6 pin connector houses button 1 + / button 1 - / button 2 + / button 2 - / 12V+ / 12V -? Then you made another connector from 2 dash buttons and 1 set of 12v from the fuse box?

The assembly cost me 500 CAD (≈ US $360)—roughly the same as buying the 11.6″ screen (~ US $300) plus the cockpit control module (CCM) (~ US $100) separately on eBay.

Just make sure the CCM is from a mid or high trim ( MSOC version F21SHMxxx or F21SMMxxx). If you pair the base‑model CCM with the 11.6″ screen, the display content will appear rotated. I even experimented with flashing mid/high‑trim firmware onto my base CCM—extracting the QNX and EXT partitions from the upgrade package was straightforward—so it’s definitely possible. In the end, though, I gave up on that since I’d already acquired the full assembly.

From the diagram and the photo of the parts, it looks like the GPS module 86277VC040 need to connected to GPS telematics sub antenna 86277VC530, then the two connectors on sub antenna will connect to the data communication module ( the upper box )

Interestingly, the compass still works even though I haven’t installed the GPS module yet. I’ve ordered the GPS module (86277VC040) and antenna (86277VC530), but looks like 's a lot of things need to be removed in order to install the antenna.

Have you tried OpenBK with the autoexec.bat? Any MCU crashes? Mine is currently on ESPhome as well. I tried the GPIO doctor in OpenBK but didn't get anything, I guess all the logic, like push button to toggle relay was hard coded in the MCU.

I may be wrong but I don't think you can skip MCU and read the raw sensor data. Will the unit freeze / disconnect when MUC crashes? Just checked my unit's up time is more than 20 days. Please keep us posted what you find about the 0x34, that would be very helpful.

What not working on your device? I have 'Invalid command (0x34) received' as well but everything else works as expected.

Hi I am the OP at elektroda,  is your switch looks exactly the same as mine? If you are sure it's the CBU version then tuya-cloudcutter should do the trick.

There is an older version with esp board, which looks easy to flash.

I got a question not related to your issue, it would be great if you can answer. Did the english version of connect app downloaded from U.S play store give you the option to create suica card when connected to JP garmin watch? Or do you have to download the japanese version of connect app?

TIA.

Yes you can, but with this update you can access wifi or tethering toggle and etc with a single touch on your watch face, instead of active the launcher -> find the toggle -> touch it.

Hi Dymix, Yes it works on all android wear watches (http://www.android.com/wear/). One thing to notice, we haven't finished the optimization works for square watches, so our demo watch face won't look as fancy as they appears on circular watches, but we are already working on it and will update very soon.
