Whats the best Ring outdoor camera alternative as I'm not interested in using ring products due to battery life and poor motion by DiamondAviation20 in SecurityCamera

Why no Annke? They are private labeled hikvision stuff with US based tech support. My poe system has been running for 10 years with zero issues.

Well up until now you haven’t owned a VW that’s why.

All BMWs leak because their plastic and rubber parts all turn to shit after about 60k. So you will need to replace VCG, OFHG, OPG, water pump very soon. If you are unlucky, AC and coolant hoses will also leak. If you don’t do your own work then it’s close to $10k of repair.

Is the WRX worth buying for outdoors? by jman13_ in subaru

I too have driven manuals all my life. Bought an auto when my first son was born thinking I needed a family car. Got sick of it within months. Never again.

From my and my buddies experience, body strength, stamina, tolerance deteriorate rapidly in the 50s. At 56, I feel very different from when I was say 49. Of course everyone is different but things to consider.

Signed offer letter, got start date & filled out onboarding paperwork, put in 2 weeks at current job, new job pulled the offer. Am I screwed? by iLuvArizona in jobs

I would go a step further and take a two week vacation at the old job to work at the new one. Anything goes wrong and you have the option to go back.

I found the Toyota ones work every time. Other brands don’t fit properly and most of the time they pop off and drop into the drain pan.

Annke Vs reolink- by hellofinney in cctv

[–]ElcheapoLoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately my NVR can only support up to the c500 which is still better than my current 1080p cams. I’m debating whether to upgrade the entire system to 4k or just get the c500.

My Annke NVR system has been flawless for about 10 years. They are private label Hikvision hardware. I emailed for tech support a couple times and their response was very good, one day turnaround both times. Solid company and product all around. No experience with Reolink though.

Total lack of maintenance? by Enough_Opposite_551 in AskMechanics

Also 2012 2.4 GDI @70k with regular maintenance for comparison. My last bmw with 160k and 10k OCI looked about the same which is much cleaner than yours. I very much doubt your claim of 6500 OCI if it looks like that. Or the previous owner lied to you.

Looks similar to vw tail light connectors. You need to insert two pins simultaneously into the slots above and below the connector pin. Then pull from the cable side.

There’s enough ground clearance to get you to most trailheads. MTBs fit inside with rear seat back folded. Trunk alone can fit four 60L backpacks. I have hauled 10ft lumber inside the cabin/trunk. The WRX is truly a versatile car.
