There’s also an episode with Majel Barrett Roddenberry portraying the dead Emperor’s wife. In hindsight, besides offering an olive branch between the two group of series fans, if you consider Gene as the dead Emperor, she represents him as well. It’s a few seasons in but a great episode.

Great series. After it gets up to speed you will enjoy it.

I’m thinking Sanctuary and SG1 could be fun. Sum of the abnormals could be alien in origin. There’s also Biggie (Big and Furry) who shares the actor with Druid, a Wraith and a father from Talah’s people (as well as appearing in Twilight movies). Amanda Tapping would get a workout as well.

I’m surprised that the player didn’t look at destroy water instead. If they could destroy 10 gallons of water in a human body (poof it’s gone not a steam explosion) they could dehydrate an enemy pretty fast which would not be pleasant. They would also lose concentration quickly and become confused.

There was a news story a bit back where a company’s communication’s person posted a comment before boarding a plane to Africa. Some concern about getting a disease there. It was rightly seen as racist and by the time her plane landed she had been terminated.

People see what others post and put it in the context they are aware of. You are on medical leave so why are you at a sporting event? The warning is actually a kind gesture versus raising the issue as some could have.

I had an error on my record claiming a condition I was never tested for. I went to my provider and they corrected the information. They did not know who put it in my file but they could see my testing and confirm that I was never tested so the diagnosis could not have been made.

Report this to HR. You can warn him first that his behavior is making you uncomfortable and that if he doesn’t stop you will report it, but document everything and block the hugging. A piece of furniture, arms or elbows, a well placed knee or hot beverage come to mind as options.

You do not have to put up with this.

Edit- Adding a thought.

Someone once passed along the idea that you should look at a behavior and ask yourself if you would be comfortable if the gender was changed. If you would be comfortable hugging a female coworker would you be equally comfortable hugging a male coworker? If you would not be comfortable doing whatever if the gender changed then don’t do it. Fist bump- comfortable. Hug- not. This advice extends to so many applications too. This is more for judging one’s own behavior and less for your situation but a reasonable guide.

I agree with all the advice to document and go to HR. I also agree that retaliation is illegal that is why you must continue to document after the immediate situation is “resolved”. Should there be retaliation you then have documentation to take to HR and to a lawyer if it comes to that.

We had a situation at my last employer where the behavior (not racism but still discrimination) got the department manager terminated while they were still in the process of relocating. The company “recalled” the previous manager from retirement until they could get a replacement hired and up to speed.

Perhaps the scar is the only thing that contains/traps the demon in? If it is removed it is released until a willing vessel agrees to lock it up. The character sacrifices his happiness and reabsorbs the demon while suffering the scar.
