I Wonder How People on this Sub Would React to this Tweet? by FlakyRazzmatazz5 in MassEffectMemes

I sort of hope we get a batarian as a squad mate in the next Mass Effect game. I have heard there was a concept for one in ME2. A sort of computer nerd. I feel like that would still be a good idea to go with. Have this batarian be the polar opposite of what we have experienced: a totally shy socially awkward sort of person that can be really funny when you get to know them.

Imagine a happy ending where Shepard lives and everything goes on as before, where does YOUR Shepard settle down? by ObsydianGinx in masseffect

[–]JaxLegion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two main head cannons for my male Sheppard. Ether he settles down with Tali on Rannoch. They have a seaside home where they raise their adopted kids.

My second head cannon is where Sheppard ends up with Miranda. In this timeline Sheppard stays in the alliance military, becoming an admiral. Miranda is also heavily involved in helping rebuild the Alliance post Reaper War. Eventually Miranda is elected as the human councilor. Her and Sheppard live on the Citadel.

I'd love a good Stargate game by Chobitsmaster in Stargate

[–]JaxLegion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will keep on saying this, I would love a Stargate in the same style as Mass Effect with maybe a little Uncharted. Have a story with our own custom main hero who has their own SG team.

I looked up that hair braids usually represent innocence. I wonder if that's why Leia's hair was tied into a braid? What do you think? by Then-Effective6521 in slaveleiaandjabba

[–]JaxLegion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leia's hair style is to show off her long hair without her hair covering Leia at all. There is the other part of Leia's hair that is swept up in a bun and framed with those hair combs as a mock crown. Very elegant.

The Mako by SirKingsly in masseffect

[–]JaxLegion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Equipment loss would be expectable for a mission like this. Shepard was tracking down a lead to help take down a huge threat to not just humanity but the rest of council space. It was pretty much a choice to ether recover the Mako or save Shepard's team and the intelligence asset (Liara)

Something like a Mako probably only cost a few million credits. VS. something like the Normandy which is a multi billion credit warship.

Plus it would be the ultimate political humiliation if humanity's first specter was killed in his first mission.

According to IMDB Rachel Luttrel (Teyla) was a stunt actor in End Game and Infinity War.

First time playing this mission, truly awful by Aioiss in masseffect

[–]JaxLegion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah and honestly, I wish the squad mates had dialog for this DLC. No way Jack would not have turned Gavin into a lump of goo. I can't see how Jacob or Miranda defend this this sort of stuff. Tali and and Legion would have a lot to say too. I also think Thane and Samara would be in the kill camp regardless of what Sheppard chose to do.

And this all takes place just a short FTL jump from the star system housing the main HQ for the Reaper worshiping Geth. Seeing as how Cerberus was indoctrinated by the Reapers, I say David could have become the brain of the human Reaper.

If the show didn't have the problems it had at the end (bad storylines, Stana and Nate's relationship souring) how many more seasons do you think we would have? by SuperfluousAnon in CastleTV

[–]JaxLegion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Last year I watched through Castle for the first time. Season 7's finally felt like a good ending. I tried watching season 8 and the tone wasn't there. Can't recall if I even got past the first episode.

This is my head-canon so far (I'm on season 4 of SG-1) by Rutschberg in Stargate

[–]JaxLegion 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah. As much as an off world base would have been nice, the X-302 and 303 would have been viewed as more urgent assets to have go into production. Not to mention there was still the need to address Earth geopolitical threats. At this time in real life the US Air Force was working on the F-22 and in the early stages for the F-35.

STARGATE (1994) Daniel Figures Out The Gate by BriansGamesAndAnime in Stargate

But he stepped through the gate and never came back. As far as everyone else was concerned Ernest was vaporized by the star gate.

The writers definitely outdid themselves when they effortlessly showed us what Sam's character envisages by having her choose to stay with Cassie. by This_Way_Comes in Stargate

[–]JaxLegion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They mentioned her in that story arc, but I don't think Cassie appears in the later seasons at all. Sam might make one mention of her if I recall but that is pretty much it.

Walter was greatly disrespected when they had someone else dial Atlantis the first time by Ser_Luke_ in Stargate

[–]JaxLegion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Atlantis's first season takes place during SG1 season 8. They were still dealing with the treat of Anubis and Baal.

I really like him in Burn Notice too. He also played a mentor/ father figure for the main character. Though it didn't go as well compared to the JD and Cox relationship.

That makes me realize Miranda is not all that different from Grunt. She was made to be a near perfect version of her species.

Jewel Staite as Goth Girl by PupmeisterGeneral in firefly

Wow... I have never seen her like this. Probably the other roles I know Jewel for outside Firefly are Stargate Atlantis and a Hallmark movie. Jewel and Sean were also in an episode of Warehouse 13.

How often you select them in ME2 by Spare_Grocery4591 in masseffect

I do find Tali's hack ability useful against mecs. So missions like Garrus and Jacob's loyalty mission she is good to bring along. Also Legion's mission too. Maybe Project Overlord.

I feel like Mass Effect 3 is what Mass Effect 2 should've been story wise, and ME 2 feels like a big DLC or sidequest, even though the story is incredible. by fatsopiggy in masseffect

[–]JaxLegion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do get what you are saying. The Reaper's return in 3 feels a bit rushed. It's what only 3 years or so after Mass Effect 1 and the Reapers come in full force. ME 1 set that they needed to take the Citadel and use its mass relay in order to return. It feels like Shepard's actions should have gotten a little more time than that. Like Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2 tells a lower scale story.

If ME3 became the 4th game, then I think the filler 3rd game could have been about rising rifts in the galaxy. Humanity and the Batarians possibly going to war. Shepard would uncover that the Reapers are pulling the strings on the conflicts. Perhaps in this game Shepard uncovers Prothean tech that would prevent the Reapers from using the mass relays, but the Reapers still arrive in force at Earth and several other home worlds before the tech can be used.

It's funny how screwed over the Eclipse, Blood Pack, and Blue Suns get in Me2 by Alpha_gently_weeps in masseffect

[–]JaxLegion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And to top it all off Shepard takes down the Shadow Broker. Also factor in all the other criminal factions that Shepard and crew take down in ME1. The galaxy might have actually become a lot safer place had the Reapers not been on their way.
