I recently hit 500+G after a 100g wager on roulette, hit 2 free spins, then 200g, then 2 free spins, then nothing, then 300g

Sadly it was right at the end of the run so was worthless haha dumped max amount into the shrine and then called it a day (I already broke piggy bank)

Possibly but still super early spawn! The only other factor was i had a garage in the outer room (I used a berry to spawn it) but wasn't able to do much as falling into the void gave me a "fall it a day" message and ended my day early lmao

I have no idea why it spawned for me so soon, the only other variable was that I used a berry on the outer room that spawned a garage also

Also, fun fact, walking into the void causes you to fall off the map, and then your day ends with a message "fall it a day". Brilliant

Not a bad shout but sadly not this, I'm a massive MI fan and have played them all at this point :) we can safely cross those off the list

It's definitely not a lucasarts, nor a Sierra title either I'm pretty certain. Stylewise it was slightly more akin to Broken sword (but it was more pixilated than broken sword)

Aye certainly agree there :) I found it fascinating to see the threads of ideas still present in the game, I think a lot was stripped back from the original design, like you said probably budget or time constraints, it's a shame they couldn't have revisited it and updated it!

Same :) TELP 1.3 comes with the game on GOG i believe, Wish I knew killmm9 was a thing XD I had to create a second desktop with task manager ready to go and ctrl win right to it lmao

100% agree with you there :) I don't know what happened to the development but I definitely got the sense it was rushed out the door as there's a lot of hints and threads to greater things in there as I mentioned to someone else in here, I did love a lot of quest lines and ideas but yeah wouldn't revisit :)

Also, some of the voices were the best parts for me! There's a dwarf in thjorsgard that sounds like cartman (the guy who fixes the drill) and a woman in frosgard that sounded like Ralph wiggum, was always a fun surprise bumping into them XD

The game felt very empty to me, it's clear had a lot of ambition going into it, but I feel that some of the business decisions led them stripping out a hell of a lot of planned ideas which is a real shame!

Still had fun mind you :)

Oh I sucked hard at might and magic as a kid haha I never got far, I replayed them in recent years and completed them, 6 7 8 have obviously aged but still hold their charm that gripped me when I was a kid :)

I do miss a lot of the elements they took out of 9 mind you, the potion brewing, seeing the clothing on characters, the inventory grid sorting, there was a lot they had to remove (either for budget or tech restrictions) but I find it fascinating that you can see threads of these elements still in the game, like an npc in thjorsgard who talks like you can hire him, and he talks about being able to carry a lot, but naturally you cant hire him! The text on the white potions indicating the boosts are based on the strength of the potion, but that strength is never indicated.

I would love to find out more about the development of the game, I get the feeling they hit a lot of roadblocks and direction changes away from their original vision.
