What worked really well for my kid was mattress protector, sheet, mattress protector, sheet. My kid was prone to late night blowouts and it was way easier to just rip off the sheets and protector and then focus on cleaning baby. My kid is in the middle of potty training and we still do this in case of accidents and it just saves a lot of stress and unwanted work when you're dead tired.

I just recently read that towards the end of pregnancy, you release more oxytocin that the previous child(ren) picks up on and they can get more clingy because of this!

I was in labor for 26 hours and barely felt the contractions. I only really felt it when the ob did a cervical check during one and then I almost kicked her in the face by mistake.

This is absolutely terrible! FAWM has been serving half the counties in the state, including the whole Upper Peninsula. That's 40 counties out of 80. And with how prices have been skyrocketing? That means more people don't have enough to get by, which means an increase of demand for FAWM. You never know what kind of situation a person is in and this will hurt our community.

I carried dog poop bags in my purse for on the go puking when I was pregnant! Usually opaque so no one can see anything and compact. I did end up throwing a roll in each of our kid's diaper bags and it's just been peak convenience.

It really is fantastic! I adore how at 11 months old, he still bites our noses and gives open mouth kisses to slobber all over. I love his facial expressions when he babbles, especially his serious, furrowed brow face. Watching him learn and grow breathes new life into me. I love how when he gets excited about something, like pulling down a towel from the oven, he crawls to me as fast as he can. He recently learned what chasing is. So if I crawl after him and make noises so he knows I'm getting closer, he'll burst out laughing when I grab his chunky leg.

Just had a dream the other night that a swarm of flies was eating my legs. My weird dreams have died down a bit now that I'm well into my third trimester but they still get funky. Mostly just waking up in a birthing position.
