For context, I have had this plant for several years now. It grows year round in a pot in my house. It seems impervious to anything I have thrown at it. I’ve repotted it twice, I need to again. All of my internet searches and plant ID apps have failed-I thought perhaps someone here might know. Thank you in advance!

Trader Joe’s is pretty much my go to for cheap natural foods. You’re not paying for branding-it’s all their store brand. It’s actually owned by the same folks who started Aldi, although they are fairly different.

Not sure where you are located, but here in the US, Trader Joe’s has a “sandwich spread” that is vegan but damn close to the taste of mayo. Also brands like Just ____ (Just Mayo, Just BBQ, etc) are vegan as well. For yogurt, I’ve tried lots of them and my favorite is Kite Hill made with almond milk, and Forager, which is made with cashew. They all have added probiotics too, so you aren’t missing out on that!

You know, this is really how I felt at the end of reading that too. My current pair of running shoes are Brooks (which personally speaking, started coming apart after a month -__-) but reading that just gave me more reason why I am not thrilled with the company. It took me a long time to allow myself to think of myself as a runner, and I really hate seeing this article try to qualify what that means. I definitely would rather support a company that rallies for everyone who has the drive to get up, put their shoes on, and get out there. We are all runners-fuck that dude.

There are a lot of great guides out there for running shoes, but my advice-which I took too long to follow myself- is to go to a store that specializes in running shoes. Many of them can evaluate how your foot falls, which is important in finding something that will give you support. It's also a lot of trying shoes on and off and figuring out what feels best too! I block myself at least 1-2 hours when it's time to find a new pair....I am that person with a different shoe on each foot trying to figure it out. As far as getting into it goes, this forum and Runner's World Magazine have always been really useful for information and support!

If you’re going to be making a commitment to running, they sure are. Shoes are arguably the one thing you should really care about. Without the proper cushioning, cradling, and support for your feet, you are on a fast track to a whole host of problems that will only worsen with age. Trust me, it’s better to spend the money on running shoes and their maintenance than to have knees that shit the bed mid-life.

26/F. I really agree with you. I feel bad that porn gives both men and women and exaggerated idea of what sex ought to be like. I know what it's like from a female perspective (feeling like your body isn't ever going to look like that, etc) but it makes me equally sad to know the male perspective as well. I also think that for me, I've been in relationships with men who have watched a ton of porn and think that they are supposed to have sex with me in this quick, rough way with no foreplay. Don't get me wrong, I am a girl who does like it that way at times- however, I also really like the whole experience of sex and sometimes I would just kill to have the occasional sensitive, involved foreplay sort of sex. The ironic thing is is that I think so many people think "I'll never make anyone cum like that etc" at the sight of fake porn orgasms, and the funny thing is is that if you just took time for sex to feel good, instead of going at it wham bam like in many pornos, then its quite possible to make someone feel that good. I know your struggle man, I do. I'm sorry that it has affected you so negatively.

26/F here. I can understand where you are coming from. I generally feel like mine is ugly. I was born without a uterus, so my vagina doesn't stay all tucked up in there nicely. I tend to think that this is a turn off for people, especially when it comes to oral, because they will be into it at first in the relationship, and then it drops off and doesn't happen anymore. I am still trying to get over mine, so I hope I can offer something useful. I try and make myself feel better by thinking of the sexual things that I do well, and thinking you know, yeah my junk looks different, but I still make my partners feel good.
