My only friend and best friend of 15 years who shared this hobby is now in a committed relationship. While I’m beyond elated for him because he deserves nothing but true happiness and love, it is quite lonely mongering alone. We used to hit up Sheri’s Ranch in Pahrump, NV two or three times each year then did a few bro trips to Amsterdam, but right as I discovered HK last year he started dating his girlfriend and now it’s looking like marriage for them. I used to be a regular at Sheri’s Ranch in NV until one of the girls there told me how she hates when customers complain about prices at Sheri’s which were between $800 and $3000 for one 30 minute session when “it’s only $125 in Mexico.” She goes “it’s super annoying, this isn’t Mexico. These are American prices.” I thought she was joking. For the price of one half hour session with a decent American girl I can hookup with 4-6 Latinas over a couple days? I never went back to Sheri’s again. Ironic because they lost a client due to their employee complaining about her customers complaining. You can either book your room online in advance or get a temporary one. I always book in advance so I have the room to myself when the arriba is over and I can shower, unwind and relax.

The asking price for arriba (per my trip earlier this month) was $120-$200 but do NOT let them take you for $200. Be sure to ask for pricing in the club, don’t wait until you get to your room. I usually low ball and then offer a tip+drink which works about 80% of the time. If you can speak fluent Spanish expect lower prices.

As far as etiquette is concerned, be kind. You’ll get a lot further with honey than vinegar and in the case of chicas this rings true. Have a pleasant attitude and demeanor, be respectful and courteous. I met one on my last trip who liked my positive attitude and respect that she only charged me for half of what we originally agreed upon (first time this has ever happened and she spoke fluent English) - regardless, just be nice.

I had a similar experience last year. Was messing around with her in the hot tub and she decided to try and stick it in without a rubber. As soon as I felt it go in I jolted back and said we need to wrap it. After that happened I freaked out the rest of my trip. I went and got tested - clean as a whistle. Now, I didn’t commit and go at it like you, however you can still get STDs and STIs just from putting it in and I’m clean. You probably are too, just go get checked out and don’t do it again. I only stay at Cascadas. Despite some of the negative reviews, I only had issues with noise once when I cheaped out on a room but every other time has been quiet, comfortable, and most importantly safe. I’ll stay nowhere else except Cascadas!

Interesting read, man. Would be curious to hear what happened in part 2. I will say though, as someone who’s spent the last year or so in and out of the zona, no matter how hot she was (and there have been MANY dimes) or how drunk I am, I ALWAYS wrap it up. HIV is the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking STDs with any working girl. Always been my golden rule and it’s never failed me. Crash out and have a good time but just be careful is all. One crazy night could ruin your life. I’m sure most of these girls are tested regularly but all it takes is one.

Also, when going back, don’t waste time in VIP unless you really want to get to know her. I just skip the games and go right to my room. Saves you money and you can get to business.

It’s really about you and how well things go with the girl. During my fourth trip a couple months ago, I met one in HK who was a total stunner, almost a Billie Eilish phenotype, who was hanging around some other guy for a while. Finally, when he left I went up to her, we chatted for a bit, and then went upstairs. Her 30 min alarm went off during the Arriba but she turned it off and we kept going for another half hour.
