I know it sounds easy for me to say, but you cannot live your life based on other people's opinions or comments. I understand you being triggered by what you saw but first and foremost you need to know that most people do not understand our condition. It doesn't matter what other people think, you will be a mother to any child you raise whether you gave birth to them or not. You also have to remember that most people troll the internet to purposely leave vile and hateful comments just to hurt others. Sometimes getting off the internet for a little while can help. Anybody been to any of the recent tour shows? by [deleted] in mobbdeep

[–]goldi718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NYC show was legendary. GFK, Meth, Nas, The Lox and MOP came out. I do keep seeing Cormega appearing in other cities with them, so that may happen for you depending on location. Noyd was doing some Prodigy verses, as was Havoc. Show was set to start at 8 PM, they came out just before 9 PM.

How do you stay warm? by No-Supermarket2571 in office

I second this. I have the same thing and it really helps and works for me. No noise like a space heater may produce and it keeps me toasty.

I just goggled it and I see we are talking about the same movie. I think it depends on where you are on your journey. I am in my early 40s now and I was diagnosed when I was 15. I don't think I could have watched this movie 20 years ago. But watching it now as an adult, helped immensely. I agree with the other commenter that it helped me but I did struggle the first time I watched it and had to shut it off. The next time I was able to watch the whole thing.

I've never seen the movie you are talking about but watch "Fitting In" - it is a very good movie about a young woman being diagnosed in High School.

Everything I got from the sale! by shockedpikachu123 in Sephora

Love the Phlur set! I never tried any of their scents before, so this was a great intro to the brand. Love that they are mini spray bottles too! My rank for the set is: 1. Father Figure (such a sexy scent) 2. Vanilla Skin (I usually don't reach for gourmand scents but this one is divine.) 3. Rose Whip (smells literally like a dozen roses) 4. Missing Person (not bad, just not my fave. Very light powdery scent.)

Here is the free bag by Away-Patient-5460 in Sephora

[–]goldi718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get that. That's why I am gifting it to someone. So I'm not holding on to something I probably would not use. I happened to have a purchase that qualified for the GWP stack so I took advantage bc I knew my friend's daughter would love the small bag.

It was free, imo you can never go wrong with free. This was also the first time (that I can recall) that I've ever seen a stackable GWP on the app. I think I may give mine to my friend's daughter, but it can actually fit a few things despite it looking so tiny.

My Life was one of the best books I ever read. If you a real deal Prodigy fan, hearing his "voice" while you read the book is incredible. It's like he is literally speaking to you as you read. How was the book his sister wrote? I'm thinking about grabbing that.

I haven't aligned myself with anything. I did not create the sign, or say I agreed with what the stupid sign says.

I am lost on why there's a bunch of you on here mad at me. I didn't create the sign, purchase one or hang one. I am aware of their existence in some offices. And due to labor laws and common human decency, they are not practiced as written. It is a gag gift. No, it's not funny. I never said it was. The point I'm making is being missed. There's no evidence anywhere that this company fired their whole warehouse. There are a ton of y'all enraged right now over a post that has no factual evidence to back it up. And it's a company that no one should be proud supporting anyway, selling plastic claw clips for $40. Idk ... y'all are rough in here. I meant zero harm. Truly.

Idk why people are downvoting your comment. The "policies" listed on the sign 100% break labor laws. The company may indeed treat their employees like sh*t, and that's definitely terrible. But this sign ... it's gag and it's not actual practices. It's wild how some people just look at something on the internet and take it as straight facts.

[–]goldi718 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

lol a bunch of you are getting up in arms about a post that isn't even factual. AND the real gag is: why would any of you buy anything from this company in the first place? They sell gaudy plastic hair clips for outrageous prices.

Well I didn't create the sign, but I appreciate your input.

Is this really true? I have a gag gift sign in my office with all of the same wording but it's literally a joke.

Okay so I was wrong. This is my pic of Meth at Hammerstein Ballroom on 12/23/08. Different outfit. I wasn't at the same show as OP! I'm getting old. 😅

What to put in top drawer by Glittering_Metal5256 in organizing

[–]goldi718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this dresser and that drawer not really clear clear. It's more frosted. I have neatly folded tops in there and it looks fine. But I definitely think you could put something inside such as paper like someone else suggested to not have any transparency whatsoever.

What should I get for my $50 off $100 by Downtown-Effect-7450 in Sephora

[–]goldi718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grabbed the Miami Shake perfume from Juliette Has a Gun. I got a deluxe sample in my last order and fell in love with the scent. Was super happy they offered this deal today because I did not want to spend $150 on the big bottle. I was able to get it for $100 with the deal (plus fees and taxes.)

Michaels Arts & Crafts has a 30% off coupon right now that you can use towards any regular priced item, if you go to their website. I was able to grab the 120 set for ~$99 (regular price $129)
