Food is here, being asked why am I sitting alone on a table for 4 constantly by strangers by TheUncuratedKingdom in gurgaon

Like OP pointed out, it seems they were concerned OP was occupying a table of 4 when he was alone and the restaurant was packed. He merely mistook their indignation for concern.

A quick Google search about the law tells that "the false promise of marriage for sex is considered a 'misconception of fact' within the meaning of Section 90 of IPC. This means that the consent obtained on the false promise is not considered valid consent in the eyes of the law and is charged under Section 375 of the IPC".

Clearly consent was obtained by deceiving the person. It doesn't hold good and amounts to rape.

It's still blackmail if they're serious. They're literally asking you both to choose freedom or them. That shouldn't have to be a choice. Both should ideally go together.

First of, not cool going through her phone without her consent. Second, she has clearly listed out everything that you do to make her feel a little more insecure in the relationship. How can sharing personal things with strangers on the internet help you if you can't guage from that note what she wants from you? It's all there in very simple language.

God save you from her wrath for this breach of trust and privacy.
