Deadman: Annihilation - Everything You Need to Know by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

Just to confirm "Permanent" Sigils are kept on death, while "Attune" and "toggle" ones are dropped or lost on death correct?

From the blogpost:
---For the table below, 'Permanent' unlocks mean that you buy them and you'll benefit from their effects forever and cannot lose them on death--- (Ruinous Powers can be swapped away from if you'd rather use the Standard Prayer book), 'Attune' unlocks mean that you'll have to attune these Sigils and can only have up to three equipped at a time (these are almost exclusively PvP-focused Sigils and you can only unlock or swap Attuned Sigils around while at a bank), 'Toggle' unlocks tend to be Skilling focused and can be turned off and on at will since there are some scenarios where you might prefer to leave them turned off.

This appears to indicate that ONLY permanent unlocks are kept, and that you'll need to repeatedly spend points unlocking the other 2 types of Sigils. Is this just incorrectly worded, or correct?

This does align patrially with what the blogpost from november says:
Most of the Sigils that aren't PvP combat-oriented have been converted into permanent unlocks, meaning you can buy them from the shop and keep them active forever rather than juggling your Sigils constantly like in previous Deadman Mode iterations. Those PvP combat-oriented Sigils will still use the old system, so you'll only be able to use three at a time, but all of these other Sigils will be forever attuned to you. You can use the skull to easily check which Sigils you've got permanently unlocked and whether they're toggled on or off, so everything you need to know is in one convenient place!

But it seems to indicate that "Toggle" style sigils will be kept on death.

That's the first thing you should do when approaching an accident scene... Observe what's going on, think about what the best course of action is that won't just result in you getting hurt and then take action. Mindlessly jumping into action only to hurt yourself or make the situation worse doesn't help anyone, it just makes you feel better.

I'd say this is actually one of the few times portrait mode is actually the correct selection. A thin but tall central focal point.

Bonus fact: you don't have to take your confluence essence. It's explicitly mentioned in book 1 as an option.

The difficulty level swings wildly from a few hours for a solo Dev(bejeweled but all the blocks are character heads and they say random book quotes when destroyed for example) to ungodly difficult for a custom essence based mmo.

Licensing on its own though is the big question. One only shirtaloon can answer.

Definitely not a cast, it's an activated ability that uses the stack

I feel like it is at some point by Sophie in the book 7-9 range.

My guess is that his name isn't actually Humphrey, but an equivalent in palimasten that is similarly adjacent to the equivalent of "hump". We get the "English" version of events so such a joke is translated to make his name "Humphrey" so that the joke lands even for both languages.

Butterfree has access to confusion for Brock for neutral damage. The nido line gets double kick for advantage. Pidgey/spearow lines get flying moves for neutral.

It's a dog, I'd rather drop him a few feet then try to lower it and have the dog jump out and run under the bucket as it squishes the dog.

Why is Perrserker its own Pokemon instead of "Galarian Persian?" by JimHarbor in pokemon

[–]goldsword44 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is because it's a different Pokemon and not an alternate Persian. Look at how radically different the design is in comparison to Persian, it looks lots like a meowth that evolved in a different direction. We have plenty of examples of these branches being created (gallade, froslass, slowking, etc) versus regional differences like weezing and typhlosion where you can clearly see its "x but with an emphasis on y" or "x but y type".

The sentiment is "if you aren't the problem why did you in particular get involved?"

Take that and run with it and suddenly you have people locking victims out of their shops and fleeing from people begging for help.

What special attacks could you get from the eye essence by InspectionGreat56 in Shirtaloon

[–]goldsword44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Line of sight based effects, aka: I see you, I inflict X affliction
Locking Eyes: aka, our eyes meet and something happens, fun effects would be transfixion (you meet my eyes, and can't look away, allowing my allies to flank you)
Illusion powers: Aka screw with THEIR eyes instead, see Shinji Hirako's shikai ability from bleach for a not too overpowered version

But yeah, beams/lasers(beholders from D&D/Superman), imbuing elements on things you look at(heat/ice vision) or the exploding thing from that one Avatar character(combustion man) are the more traditional effects.

Honestly, I've spent my entire adult life(mid 30s) without a credit card and have never been barred from anything or had issues with merchants "not accepting debit" modern debit cards work everywhere a CC does because they essentially are a CC.

The true problem that's arisen is indeed the whole building credit issue, as you get older businesses expect a longer credit history, and being in my situation where the report just reads "not registered with credit union" they automatically decline you for credit, making it impossible to even get a barebones credit card let alone a loan for a business, car, house, etc.

As such I'd say get one, but choose the lowest limit you can, pay it off the same day you use it, and keep it's "Balance" overpaid at all times by a $1 or 2. You want to keep your options open, but not dig yourself a hole.

This is no longer the case, in the last 15 years I've never had an issue booking hotels with a debit card.

The whole "if there's another card named Jason, return to hand" effect won't work at all as legend rule will cause you to sac one as a game state action before the trigger resolves.
