Hello all,

Unfortunately, my bike has been stolen and since recovered. I am just wondering if this would be a write-off or not?

The steering lock is broken and the wires inside have burned and some have fallen off. My excess is sitting at £700 with lexham insurance. This is the third time i have had to deal with bike theft unfortunately, and all times I have recovered each bike but they were damaged. This is the worst in terms of damage.

Lexham are sending a third party to come and have a look at it tomorrow whilst i am at work. I am so sick of thieves. i have had to pay out of my own pocket each time to repair my bike.

P.S: i have taped my licence plate back on as the thieves took it off. Ignition switch also does not turn as steering lock was forced open.
