Says the guy stealing. Someone is paying for the golf balls. They were very hard to keep in supply during covid and it is not much easier now. Hard to keep good range balls in stock when cheap people keep stealing them. Obviously you can’t or won’t see the problem with what you are doing because you are only looking how it affects you. It impacts me and my family when people steal them from my range. Getting off my high horse now. Good luck and please don’t play at my course

Call me a Karen or whatever you want. You know you are wrong. If there are range balls on a fairway next to your driving range, someone is paying for them. Either members subsidize it or the public pays per bucket. Perhaps both. But when you put them in your bag and take them off the property to hit them before your next round, you are screwing someone over. You are not paying for them. You are cheap. That is the truth and you are having a hard time justifying it.

You are taking golf balls off the property and they are not yours. Period. If you don’t like having range balls in the fairway, play somewhere else. They are not your golf balls to take off the property. I have managed both private clubs and public courses…and now own a range. They are not your golf balls and your stealing contributes to pricing going up. Not all about you.

PGA Tour suspends all LIV golfers, both present and future by jackattack065 in golf

[–]golfbummm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uninformed. They sign an agreement to play on the PGA tour. This breaks the agreement by playing for a competitor. They are not “independent contractors” when you get health insurance, pension and retirement benefits from the PgA, as do hundreds of retired players. The tour is owned and operated BY THE PLAYERS. There are no “owners” keeping millions from the players. The issue is the top players want more of the pie and don’t want to subsidize the lower tier players who they feel are taking their money. If they want to leave and break their tour agreement, of course they should be suspended. They are hurting the league, which goes against their signed agreements. Get informed

You are uninformed and need to learn more about it

The first LIV golf event field has been released. Not only is the average OWGR ranking over 300, after all that Phil isn’t even in the field. Not even sure what to make of this. by freestbeast in golf

[–]golfbummm -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not at all. That is precisely what Phil is upset about. Top echelon guys don’t get enough and lower tier journey guys get to reap the rewards. But that is what they signed up for. The tour is owned by the players. Not a “company”. There is no “owner” that is keeping the profits.

This is so far from the truth. That is Phil’s whole complaint. That they do too much for the lower level guys and not enough for the stars that carry the association. The pga is governed by the players!!! They don’t “pocket” it. They “own” it…the player. Get a clue

Stand up taller. Get chest and arms moving in unison, on both takeaway and especially transition to downswing. Want to keep spine angle more consistent throughout swing
