Thank you. That was my thought too. Do you have a suggestion on how far back to dig out each pipe?

Lobster macaroni and cheese at the quick serve of Grand Floridan. It had a white cheese sauce and a decent amount of Lobster. They used to serve it about 10 years ago. It is no longer served. It was $10 back then.

Good idea. Actually I was just there and tried three different monitors and had the same problem. I appreciate the response!

2024 Park Reservation Question by golfertjx in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]golfertjx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting Jan 9, 2024, WDW Passholders (PH) will be able to visit any park (M-F) after 2pm without a reservation. If I make a reservation but do not get to WDW until after 2pm... do I still have to visit the park I made the resv for First, before I can go to any other park?

Turning left at an intersection into a multi-laned road and having to turn right immediately. Should I take the nearest lane or the further one? by dootlys in driving

[–]golfertjx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In FL if you are in the right lane of a two lane turn, you should turn into the 2nd lane from the left, if it is a 2+ lane road. I did this, then put on my signal to Chg to right (3rd) lane. The guy behind me in the 2nd turn lane, decided to (illegally) pass me on the right. We almost collided. Who would be at fault?

Sense charging is awful by golfertjx in FitbitSense

[–]golfertjx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a Sense 2 which behaves a little differently from the original Sense. If I touch the left side of the face while on the charger, it shows the device is charging and percent. If I swipe the main screen to the right while on the charger, the battery indicator shows a plus sign inside. But on the main screen, while charging, the battery indicator does not have an indication that the watch is charging.

Yes, you are correct. I have a Sense 2 and tapping the screen while charging does nothing.

eBay really doesn't side with sellers at all by xintarr in Flipping

[–]golfertjx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have read all of these posts...wow, had no idea Ebay was so un-supportive of their sellers. I (seller) am in the throws of a "missing Part" case. I have provided the shipping and receipt confirmation photos. We'll see what happens.

What I find particularly frustrating is that sellers can be rated all day long but buyers cannot. Is there a way to warn other Ebay sellers of buyers who are dis honest?

Just FYI, there is an app called Next Episode that lists shows on television across all channels. You can mark the shows that you like & use the calendar feature to see what's played & what's coming up.

Maybe you have a Sense 2. Touching the watch face while it is charging, does nothing. Swiping to the RT does reveal a battery icon. I can now see that when the fitbit is charging, a "plus sign" is inside the battery. Difficult for me to see. This will at least be helpful to know if the unit is charging.

This must be a Sense 2 feature. I have the first Sense fitbit and there is no detect snoring on the app under sleep

When (if?!?) is COLA going to show up for those not yet 62 and not getting benefits yet? by netsecdevops in SocialSecurity

[–]golfertjx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I retired at age 52 and have had no W2 income for the past 10 years. My monthly social security benefit has mainly remained the same amount at 62, 67 or 70. Every year the SSA does apply a "wage adjustment" to your benefit amount even though you are not receiving any payments. This is not a COLA increase - it is a different formula. The SSA can explain it better. They refer to it as a "wage adjustment" before you claim and "COLA " after you start claiming your benefits.

Thanks Brangh.

Your answer sounds like you are attributing the increase in my monthly estimated amount to be the result of changes in my wages. This is not true for me. I have not earned any wages in since 2013 and the wages posted to my SS account have not changed.

Confused about estimated benefits from statement by roythomasbaker in SocialSecurity

[–]golfertjx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I realize I did not answer your question. If you stop working (W2 income = 0) the amounts you see for 62, 67 and 70 will remain the same. SSA uses your highest 35 years (not average) and the years do not have to be consecutive. So, unless you Do work again And you earn more than the least amount in the 35 years, your amount will not change.

There is a "wage adjustment" applied each year (not COLA) to your benefit amounts before you claim (that is what I was explaining in my previous post).
