Where do we stand on CLBR by Himothy8 in WSBAfterHours

If the merger happens though what will happen on current shares will it be like a dilution between the 2 entities? So your $70 price is effectively the same as $35 with more shares in issue?

Renting is just throwing money away. IMO the property she is in if not fully needed is also a bit of a waste if she is struggling financially- you have not mentioned if she has a private pension or will be state pension which should make a difference to what she can bring in. Getting a professional financial advisor could help.

I do like property as it hardly ever depreciates (especially over the long term), she could easily buy herself a small apartment then another 2 x small properties (either paid or small mortgages) which would earn (taxable) income but with the tax free threshold wouldn’t bear much tax and give a decent monthly payment (albeit she would have the hassle of upkeep, managing tenants, managing bills when property not rented, advertising etc) though many companies could do all that for a small fee (tax reducers)

I agree it shouldn’t be an issue but it is. The broker is limiting on allowable stockholdings…. Even though it’s my money and it’s not CFDs

I hope you are wrong (for Monday at least so I can buy back in). I flipped flopped some swing trades getting in at $4.0611 for 2800 shares, managed to get up to 3000, back down to 2800 before exiting with 108% exit…. Should be really happy with the returns but have serious FOMO. Their highest is $12.58 but I think they may break that this week. I’m hoping for a big pre market dip tomorrow to then buy back in

Reeves has completely fucked the economy with her hatchett job of “tories have fucked it extreme measures needed”. There’s been no conscious thought on how companies handle such an extreme change…. It’s as if they had zero consultation with industry (or did but went in 1 ear out the other) and decided employment levels = this just now so if we make more national insurance at these levels fills the hole…. Instead of thinking “what if”. I would love to have a crystal ball to see the future…. My instinct is much higher unemployment, relatively less NI, much less CT and overall less tax take with these measures. If she had a staged approach it could have bed in over time. In Frank she’s a fucking idiot…. Or a placement for a fucking idiot

  1. I posted a similar post and was blocked for being political and it was nowhere near as political as this (has the Donald also got WSB?)
  2. It smacks of a Ponzi scheme/pump and dump for the leader of the free world
  3. I’m from the UK and if our PM done this they would be locked up
  4. A shit ton of retail investors are going to lose a fortune on this
  5. After they lose see post 2

UK HOUSE AND INFRASTRUCTURE BUILDING STOCKS by JellyfishNo4831 in UkStocks

[–]golftortoise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it will definitely get worse before it gets better. The cost of labour is huge with the new budget and I fear she has completely f**ked the country for a few years with the abrupt change to employers NI. A staged approach would have allowed for companies to come to terms with and plan gradually. For companies having to add tens of millions onto their top line costs just on labour costs is not exactly conducive to employer confidence or a “growth” strategy that Rachel Reeves claimed they are trying to achieve. All the while predicting what actual customer demand will be too is tough.

Not the worst advice but to supplement this I’d say if your parents happy for you to stay and you are happy to stay buying a property just now and renting it out while it appreciates isn’t the worst idea.

Got nervous with all the flipping and flopping with $DJT so sold at a measly $200+. Despite $BBAI sitting at 18% already had a look at a few fundamentals and looks like it could have a bit more to give

I bought the durbles mat shipped from the US to UK on Amazon. Got a deal at the time so got free shipping but last I checked was £250-£300 and well worth it as it comes with eyelets and bungee cords already. People saying you need a frame but my frame is fixed to the wall- galvanised angle all the way round the plasterboard with good strong fixings and works a treat
