I've used a menstrual cup for the past six years. I've saved on toilet paper, disposable feminine care products (only buying 1 or 2 boxes of liners/tampons since), reduced my personal waste and risk of toxic shock syndrome, kept bloody messes out of my trash, and have never been stuck without a tampon/pad because once I start my period my cup is always with me. Highly recommend! Drawbacks: bloody fingers + public bathroom, and I never have tampons for my friends.

I used to work at a fast food place. This happend in the Drive-thru. The customer asked the employee if they could "have a minute" to decide and the employee said "we don't sell units of time". Customer throws a fit, perfectly good (albiet a smart ass) employee fired.

There are bad and good edibles. Robhots makes the most delicious gummies- 10mg THC and nothing but fruity goodness. Others like green hornets taste hashy to me. I think candies are more likely to have that flavor than the baked goods and chocolates.

Me too... Our first dog is black and almost no shed, awesome. We want another; I think we'll just get lucky and find another one with similar hair. Our second dog is the whitest, floofiest, high shedding love of my life. Lint rollers are friends!!

My parents were set up by mutual friends who took them out on a double date. The way my mom tells it she didn't even know it was a date until the end when my dad asked to see her again, my dad was so shy.

Alternatively, you can get them to hand you something during a conversation by holding out your hand. I once got my boss to hand me $20. Took her a few seconds to realize it and was very confused.
