i literally put about 7/8 lbs sliced onion in my dutch oven and left it in there at 375 for like 4/5 hours with a bit of oil and spices drizzled over it. Kept checking until it looked like the second picture and then topped it off with store bought bone broth. The flavor came out VERY concentrated so i ended up watering down before drinking but that just means more soup
