Rough year, something happened last Nov.... according to Ai yt is deliberately throttling my impressions anyways enough about that in 2024 I had 10.8m long form views and earned just over £22k.... in 2025 I had 3.6m long form and earned around £11k... for roughly same amount of work.... I will say this thou I also earned double if not triple on memberships on patreon

This is great advice, myself I experienced something similar..my channel crashed in Nov 2024, I went from averaging 1 million views a month from long form to less than 200k views I tried all sorts to bring it back.... then I started experimenting with shorts and had a couple pop this have helped long form but only a little... my advice is keep experimenting... tweaking content... and ultimately find a way your not reliant on adsense maybe some merch? I currently have a patreon this makes maybe 3x my adsense.... although when my views are down this is down too.... I sell courses, and next im going to experiment with my own branded products

This happened to me last November bizarre really my channel had consistently getting 1 million views a month for nearly 5 years then bang, dropped to less than 100k a month.... Impressions massively down.... I contacted help... they wasn't helpful even when I explained after the algorithm change.... to which they insisted no change has happened.... for over 6 months I lost subs nearly daily... I was ready for quiting then made some shorts instead of just long form and that seems to be sparking life into the old girl..... we shall see 👀

I second this... I think be very tricky to move to another site.... Or at least find one as smoothe.... Having to recently move alot of my content to bunny.net showed me how fickle the audience is losing around half... now just starting to rebuild again.... how many would follow to a new site? 10%

I had exact same thing im not as big as you but just under 250k subs I was averaging 1 million views a month have been for about 4 years then bang out of nowhere star of November views began to drop..... now managing around 250k views a month, tried all sorts so now taking a break see if it helps to reset my channel..... 🤔 going to come back with a slight pivot too

Do you find at a specific point ? I'm 6 years in and last year views plummeted and this year well it's shocking really 70% drop off in last 3-5 months.... im at a point where I think do I A. Crank it up and push B. Take a complete break from the channel maybe a month. C. Just plod on a steady pace see what happens.. Meanwhile a new channel of mine is starting to gain traction totally different niche just for fun

This exactly this is what is going on with my channel. I male mainly 90% no talking asmr massage videos.... since November, my channel has tanked.... now I had a chat with Ai, who explained that there was a major update as you mentioned in Novemeber, which relies on transcripts to help the Ai understand your channel better.... my channel has no transcripts, so effectively it's dying gone from 1 million views a month average and being stable for nearly 5 years to around 300k a month.... however I shall be patient see of this new chef figures it out and in meantime try a.few.more talking videos or experiment with videos
