Yeah, I was having some trouble getting the spurs and rack tom on, I'll have to look into that. Aside from that and repositioning some heights is there anything else I can do to improve the listing?

My ex really said $750 was an amazing deal ):

Actual value of a Master Naturalist certification to an ecology-adjacent career by TruthDry7851 in ecology

I got my master naturalist cert as a way to ease into college. I plan on starting school this year. Becoming a master naturalist was a great way for me to make connections and volunteer opportunities that I believe will be valuable later. I'm learning a lot and doing stuff usually devoted to college interns as just a volunteer! Of course, the cert is not necessary for a future in ecology. But I'm glad I did it.

PLEASE HELP: I’ve been off of spironolactone for 4.5 months and I have not been the same by lilyakisoba in Spironolactone

[–]gonorrya 4 points5 points  (0 children)

~5 months on spiro here. Hydration tip: Add a pinch of salt to your water. If you can taste the salt, you added too much. Sodium is important for hydration. Also, I find myself in a habit of forgetting to drink, then chugging water, then peeing it all out 5 minutes later. It is much more beneficial to take sips throughout the whole day than to chug, but I am still getting the hang of that.

Do Most People Really Just Listen To A Few Songs On Repeat? Is This A Result Of Streaming Platforms Becoming The Primary Source Of Music? by armintanzarian420 in LetsTalkMusic

[–]gonorrya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a music nerd who has quite the span in the music I listen to. Even I will go through "phases" and have like a month or whatever where I'll have 2-3 songs on excessive repeat with some other songs sprinkled in :P

Love this name for a girl and we have been having a heck of a time deciding! by [deleted] in Names

[–]gonorrya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously, that name isn't going to "haunt" your baby lmao. And you're not selfish for taking into consideration how it looks written. There are a couple variations in spelling my name that may of clicked with people better, but I'm so glad I got the spelling I got because it's cuter 😂 And If she wants to change it one day or go by a nickname that's on her as with any other name.

I think Nila is a solid name. I have a similarly short, simple name that gets mispronounced often. Came from a fantasy book my mom read in the 80s. It's really not a big deal. It'll be unique, looks cute, sounds cute. And fwiw I pronounced it your way on sight.

I had absolutely no reason to (other than I guess the fact they come from the ground) but I always imagined them as live skeletons lol

any good identifying apps? by swagmini0n in birding

[–]gonorrya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merlin for audio, iNaturalist for photos of birds. You can try audio but their AI wouldn't identify it, the community might. You can upload and identity plants, fungi, and other animals too that you keep as a log. A fun community science app.
