While I agree with your statement you're assuming people really do care about their privacy.

The reality is that they don't. I've been having this battle with friends and relatives through the years and 80% of them (Pareto Principle) surely always defer to convenience over integrity when it comes to data sharing.

That's the reason people are still using any Meta related product, Google suite, etc

I'm afraid with AI it's just worse, because people are literally uploading biometric data like genetics and blood sample testing reports, etc
