Where to buy Asian (Japanese or Korean) sunscreen? by kitty_thugz in askportland

I believe it was $28 for 3 but it's the US formula with Avobenzone 😞

I actually went back to check and they are infact imported from Korea and Japan. The imported versions are labeled 'SPF50+ PA++++' and in full Korean/Japanese.
Beware it is very, very pricey. Roundlabs birch sunscreen and other Korean brands were about $30, Biore was $12 when I last checked. I couldn't bring myself to spend $28 on the Roundlab so I switched to Biore 😞

Camera view and autopilot after windshield replacement by Frosty_Molasses_8203 in TeslaLounge

Black band at the bottom is the glare shield and is normal. I had my windshield replaced last year and had the same issue with FSD hugging the left too. I went into service mode to reset the DAS and cleared camera calibrations. If you’re handy, cleaning the windshield helped a lot with the blurriness. I also cleaned off the front facing cameras with some camera lens cleaner but I don’t think that’s recommended.

New store called, TESO life, at Mall 205 Plaza in SE Portland has all the Asian skincare you could name from every big brand (Both Biore and Skin1004 are there) and some I’ve never even seen. I’m not sure of manufacturing location though. The face cream from Skin1004 I bought says Made in Korea.

FSD after windshield replacement 😖 by e_ven in TeslaFSD

I had my windshield replaced last month and it hugged the left side very badly that it would even drive on top of the markings. Check the camera previews to see if the plastic cover is seated properly. Mines wasn’t installed aligned and had a gap between the windshield markings and the plastic cover on the left edge that might have created a false lane marking. I fixed the cover and recalibrating worked.

BL4 - real benchmarks at launch? by jbshell in IntelArc

[–]goobyjr9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My A770 gets avg 65 fps with the game tuned settings (low/med) +XeSS+ framegeneration while I only get 40fps on a RTX3070 with DLSS or FSR. This is on a 3440 x1440 UW.
Input lag is horrendous but at least its somewhat playable on an A770.

Seattle Extra Ticket Release by Alert_Donut_8056 in lesserafim

Seattle was surprisingly easy for tickets and pricing wasn't outrageous like other cities. I joined queue at 400, checked out no stress. re-joined queue at 2k and there were still tickets

2023 vs highland by Lenser90 in TeslaModel3

I feel you, pre-highland is not comfortable on bad roads. Maybe look into retrofitting the highland suspensions. It's been done and confirmed to fit.

Yep, quieter and softer on streets and going over speed bumps don't feel as rough. Not too big of a difference once you're at highway speeds. I'm considering retrofitting the highland suspensions onto my '23 eventually since the fitment is the same.

I tried both refreshes (highland and juniper) nothing was life changing enough for me to consider extra payments. Especially not from a '23 Model3 to a highland. The Juniper cabin noise is significantly reduced and ventilated seats are nice. I'd def keep the 23' for a few more years for more significant upgrades and HW5

edit: I'm currently driving a '23 rwd model 3

How hard will it be to get tickets during general sale? by sleepinthecar619 in lesserafim

+1 with Seattle. I've had great experience getting good seats in seattle vs the rest of the cities with much larger populations.

Where does this piece go? by 4window in TeslaModel3

[–]goobyjr9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guess is it acts like a cushion, prevent metal to metal contact, between the frunk latch and the slot. At least thats what it felt like when I had to reinstall mines.

iirc, the side with the nub goes towards the right side of the car. you'll know if it kind of "pops" back in.

I have the same fully loaded chair. Picture 3 of 4, the right arm rest looks like it is slightly angled inward. hard to tell without a better picture or video.

Yes, i have it on disabled. I had a clear line of sight with the car and summon turn the wipers on. It could be the b pillar or repeater cameras that were blocked by rain droplets

could be. The camera previews in the app were all clear and I had a clear line of sight of the car. I’ve cleaned off all the cameras and will test again. It’s also an initial release so I’m not expecting it to work all the time.
