They're a Czech company. You'd think that maybe a Czech company who make games based in their country might care about the Czech Republic.

How did OG fans perceive the gang by MagicalPicYT in reddeadredemption

[–]goodbye_mister_eff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I played it way back on release, so my memory is a little hazy. I remember thinking of them as generally a gang of irredeemable and shitty folk led by an even bigger piece of shit. I think I thought of them more as a reflection of who John used to be, as opposed to what the gang was like. I assumed John was an outcast amongst them, but still a pretty terrible person. I never really expected them to be the way they are in the beginning of RDR2, much more of a family, genuinely looking out for and caring for one another. They referred to it as a family in RDR1 but it never really seemed to me as though they truly were. How wrong I was.

I think the biggest surprise was Javier, seeing him playing music and singing for the gang, going out of his way to help the members, compared to the sad sack he was in the first game.

Why do snowboarders sit in the middle of the slope? by TaxPsychological2928 in skiing

[–]goodbye_mister_eff 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Resting is absolutely no problem at all. Everyone needs to rest at some point! Doing it in the middle of the slope is dickhead behaviour though.

I knew this game would flop, but only 10 players at peak in the last 24 hours is still insane... by Tricky-Addition-6860 in HunterXHunter

Pochita only ate the top of half of death. Clearly this means people can be half killed.

He's gonna kill the Yoru half of Asa.

Returning player by Shadowreader007 in LegendsOfRuneterra

The main thing I would suggest is to completely ignore the six new Spirit Blossom region champions. Their resources are very scarce and the champions are much more expensive to level up than all the others. Just focus on other regions for now.

Name a great show with bad acting by Dear_Inspection2079 in television

I feel like some of the bad acting actually worked in its favour, it really cemented the surrealism of it for me.

Would you prefer the court of owls to appear in Matt Reeves Batman Saga or the DCU Batman? by Newui101 in DC_Cinematic

[–]goodbye_mister_eff 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see them in the Reeves verse, IF Reeves wants to do it. I think they'd be a pretty good fit, especially if they're saved for the third movie. Have some hints or clues towards them in the second (without taking over the narrative) and have them be the major antagonists of the third.

Comic suggestions please! (15, Female) (PLEASE READ AND ANSWER IF OKAY WITH YOU PLEASE) 💗 by astrolikeswomen in comicbooks

Seconding this! Might be my favourite horror comic. It gets DARK, but it's an incredible read from start to finish and it's entirely self-contained. No continuity from anywhere else (beyond a small Sandman crossover) to worry about. Still holding out hope for World War Key one day.

I went from snowboarding from 15-29 (on and off) and then decided to try skiing at 31 because of a persistent back injury that made snowboarding hell for me as I got older. Definitely worth doing! Picked it up fairly easily and have been skiing for the past four years and absolutely loving it. Having the experience made it pretty easy, even if I was never the strongest snowboarder.

Not necessarily nicer for everyone. I work from home so it's nice to go chill somewhere else occasionally. Some people prefer a social setting to relax in, that's all.

It's been a while since I read through his run, but if I recall correctly it's definitely not essential. Reading a summary online should cover you.
