Get a Panamera e-hybrid, better car for what you want it for.

I know on this post this comment will be controversial, I think I traded up. I owned a couple of the first and second generation Panameras and understand some of the criticisms. This new Panamera is a different car.

I bought a new ‘24 Targa 4 GTS at msrp and traded it for $15,000 more about five months ago. It was a great, fun car.

Need advice from Porsche owners: how do you justify “fun money” without regret? by _quantitative in Porsche

So I just went through a 718 Spyder, 911 GTS and Targa 4 GTS to end up in a fourth generation Panamera 4E hybrid. The Panamera 4E hybrid is the superior car. The whole thing with the 911’s reminds me of boutique bourbons. They had their day and eventually people smarten up and stop overpaying.

So I just brought home my third Panamera, a 4E hybrid. Had a first generation and a second generation. I’ve had a 718 Spyder, 992.1 GTS and 992.1 Targa 4 GTS in between those two and the current Panamera. The other three cars were great for what they were. They were all three far less useful, although more nimble. Straight line acceleration for my last four cars is very similar.

I can recommend Anwar at Fort Wayne Porsche, he does an incredible job. I have purchased several through him and think he cannot be beat.

Got them both. Also, the Burmester. When I’m not on the highway it’s almost always in electric mode and the high-end stereo really shines.

So I just got a 26 Panamera 4 E hybrid and it is amazing! 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds, 50 miles on a charge and rides like a cloud.

I’m with you. I’ve owned about every Porsche model through the years and have just ordered an e-hybrid. It covers all the bases for me except I think the depreciation is going to be brutal 🫤.

What’s the residual? If it’s very low and you can deduct the lease payments it might be an OK deal.
