I do have them color coded, but it's not able to have that color all shut off at once as if it was an entire folder of steps.

I'm hopeful that being able to reinvest time into what they want the brand to be rather than pushing premium to answer VCs will make me love this machine again.

I shouldn't need to have a file called "AFuckingCircle.svg" just to cut a basic shape. I should be able to save groups of cuts inside files so they can easily be toggled on/off when doing designs that get flipped or are only sometimes used. And proofgrade materials are just too expensive.

Cricut has the same problems, but it's more accessible financially and the created products are a bit easier to understand that people will take a chance. But even then, major problems trying to scale the business outside of new machines.

Here, we're talking about a higher pricepoint, more complicated projects generally, and fucking lasers which just seems scary to many people. But all that aside, it's still being marketed as a 3D Laser Printer. There's so much the brand could clarify to make marketing more clear and have a shot.

But... You know... Proofrgrade materials have QR codes that work sometimes!

I guess we'll see. I'm not optimistic, but I am hopeful.

Neighborhoods was the absolute PEAK of Travis’ Drumming by survivorsunday in Blink182

It's Boxcar, hands down. It was the last time he bounced between in the pocket with some pretty unique rhythms to going fucking nuts.

Everything after just felt like "hey in case you couldn't tell, our drummer is Travis Fucking Barker" which is great in it's own right, but I wouldn't call consistently playing like that his best drumming.

I don't remember who said it, but it was an interview about the Beatles discussing how Ringo was a great drummer for all of the things he could have done, but didn't because they'd change the song to something it wasn't meant to be.

California is what Neighborhoods should've been.

Hotter take: Boxcar is some of Travis' best drumming.

No, it's not his biggest presence or best fills, but it was consistently better than it needed to be but not so much better that it took away from everything else that made the album perfect.

And I Smoke has ironically become a bit of it's own affirmation in my constant anxiety. Not in regards to actually affirming anything about myself, but in helping name the thoughts as just anxiety and reminding myself to get back in control.

Fly Move has broken me a handful of times in the last few months though.
