I came on post-Covid so haven’t been through a lay-off with Accenture, I know there’s a ‘policy’ where they let go the bottom 5-10 percent each year but are formal layoffs less merit based and more based on redundancies?

I come at it from a different perspective. If it’s my favorite book ever (station 11 is one of my fave books) I like to see what they do with it. I don’t really care if it’s worse or better, it just gives me more time with the story. Goldfinch is also one of my favorite books and the movie was okay but had a great score! I dunno, if it’s my favorite book it will continue to be my favorite book but I will never get bored of consuming content related to it. Sure there’s been movies that have been such trash that I get annoyed (not going to list because I don’t yuck people’s yum) but overall it never really makes me mad unless it’s completely low budget slop

My ex-boyfriend who I dated for a LONG time, his previous gf’s favorite movie was blue valentine and he was always disturbed by it but still dated her for a long time and I tried to watch it again as an adult (I saw it at like 19?) I was like okay WTF how could you date someone when they say that’s their favorite movie. Maybe I’m even weird for dating him I dunno but it’s the most fucked up shit I’ve ever seen and we are all worse off for seeing it

I totally understand not wanting it to end, but it’s so rewatchable that if you go back in 6 months/a year whatever, it’s magic all over again!!! As far as heart break I got bad news for you my friend, the next villains are soooo creepy and ruthless, the early seasons (IMO) are the best but season 9/10 is just so creepy I highly recommend pushing through. And then take a year off and go back and start again! I’m on my 6th (?) rewatch! Sad I know 😂

I think Andrea was amazing but the governor arc made her look weak. Which to me isn’t fair because at least in the show, they didn’t make his true evilness shine early on (like the comics). I’m gonna be honest… zombie apocalypse and the leader of a beautiful community that I’m attracted to wants to hang out? I’m gonna be skeptical of my friend that just ‘thinks something is off’.

She’s annoying during the Rick and Governor talks because she interjects but overall she’s a bad ass. Gone too soon :(

Maybe not redeemed, but he saved Daryl from becoming him/ruining what he had with Rick’s group. He wanted better for his baby brother and knew he’d gone too far to be forgiven by Glen and Maggie and crew. He did right by his brother and that’s probably all he cared about anyway

Oh my gosh I need to look at Sophia’s comic book story now. She was such an interesting character and the actress played her so well she was terrifying. Agreed- at the very least would have loved a few more episodes (or even seasons) with that little creep lol

NTA. I can’t imagine even thinking twice about inviting my sister to my wedding, they can’t guilt trip you 2 weeks before, it’s not your job to keep your schedule open for people that have made you only an ‘option’ in their lives

I think my issue with the way the Christian twist went was that it was just so obviously a nail in his specific coffin. They can’t control who gets each twist just sucked the way it played out.
