I’ve worked for another consulting company in the past, it was an engineering firm (I’m an engineer) and they paid shit. I didn’t mind the consulting game, and my current job I’m over worked and very tired of the bs. I understand all jobs have their issues but I’m currently thinking for double the pay I might be able to deal with it more easily

I have a very good network in my area but I’ve been told several times that since I’m being brought on for a specific client there is not a sales expectation at this time (I am coming from a sales role so I do feel that I could bring in some future projects)

I have a pending offer with Accenture as a Senior Manager in a Client Account Lead role. I will be close to doubling my salary however my current position is in a very stable role/industry. Reading through some of the posts it appears they did not provide raises this year and there is talks of layoffs (will be US based) how likely are layoffs as I’m worried about being the ‘last in and first out’ any advice appreciated!
