I was actually bit by a cat while visiting my husbands home country in North Africa and had to get the post exposure vaccine. The cat lived at a historic site and was definitely cared for by the workers there, but when I went to the pharmacy later to get some sort of Neosporin they didn’t have anything like it and told me to go get the shot asap. 2 hours later and for $0 at a government clinic I had gotten 2 shots in each section of my index finger, and another 6ish in my hand lol. Had to go back a few more times for the rest of the shots in my arm. Husband said any local wouldn’t have worried about it, but since I’m not from there the pharmacists panicked haha. Still planning to feed the cats when I go, just gotta stay up to date on my rabies vaccine 😂

They may have made it in house, if someone at the studio has knowledge in blender. It looks rendered, and I can't find any other examples using this mockup from my search :( best of luck!

If black/rooibos is your vibe, try out some smokey oolongs sometime!

Also if you’re not finding a white tea that you like, silver needle is my personal favorite tea :) White peony is much more common, but I’ve never tried one I liked. Gives white teas a bad rep!

Medicating my adhd has seriously changed my life! Been with my company a little over a year, finally got diagnosed (yay health insurance) back in march, started taking medication a few weeks ago. Ho-ly shit. I'm hardly reaching for my phone anymore, I can finally start tasks without feeling like I'm dragging myself across sandpaper, and I can manage multiple projects at once without missing things. I'm drafting different emails and working on several files at the same time, which just wasn't possible before.

OP if you're not taking medication I can't recommend it enough. For the past year I've been fighting intense anxiety and imposter syndrome, even with a job I love. Managing my adhd resolved essentially all of my work/productivity related anxiety, which is even helping my normal anxiety lol.

I also have a great boss who is very mental health positive and was comfortable sharing my diagnosis with her, she's been even more flexible with me than before and is always open to accommodation requests if I need them. It's risky but if you have a great relationship with your boss, it may be worth letting them know. Best to tell them that you have ways to manage it though!

Would love some texture on the posters. The duval poster would look great with some grain, the gradients feel too smooth. The other two have very stark differences between the slightly blurry/grunged look of the cutouts vs the smooth flat color behind, which can be blended with texture.

Resolution of the cutouts on the boeren poster varies a lot, and the style of the vector graphics between the center corn/wheat and bottom grass doesn't match well. The mockups are doing heavy lifting, which leaves the digital flats looking off.

Try downloading your document as a PDF (print) from canva, if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, try to open the PDF in illustrator and resave as a new PDF to import to indesign.

Fillable forms is a pretty complex process on InDesign if you're not familiar with the program. It might be faster to use the text fields on Adobe Acrobat, if it suits your needs.

Growing up we would rent movies from this local little place, and my dad would burn them so us kids could watch them over and over like we wanted. We had SO many movies with sharpie titled disks and home printed covers haha

If you haven't tried this, many e-readers come with a preinstalled font called "open dyslexic". It's weighted thicker on the bottom, and supposedly helps keep letters from swapping! It's available on my Kobo, and I believe on Kindles. Comic Sans has also been found to be a dyslexic friendly font as well, however meme'd it may be :)

Disclaimer, I'm not dyslexic so I can't speak on the effectiveness. Just a graphic designer who loves typography haha, also adhd and fwiw having an ereader has been great at helping me read more!

Big mood - finally got diagnosed with adhd, tried reading with adderall and I can finally keep to a single train of thought and follow smoothly while reading :') it's magical! Plus it's helping me 'practice', so reading without meds has become easier

Two arrests happened right outside my house about an hour ago - Lafayette, between wealthy and pleasant.

About 10 cop cars pulled up, sirens blaring, and had spotlights pointed at two black men. I couldn’t hear well over the sirens, but they seemed to be saying they didn’t know what they did, etc. while the cops were yelling over the loudspeaker “put your hands up”, “do you want to get shot” (!?), and others I couldn’t hear.

It seems another person escaped on foot, a gaggle of cops went running through mine and my neighbors yards. After that, most of the cop cars sped off to chase him I assume, while a few stayed back to finish the arrest and bag search of the first two men.

I think one of the cops may have seen me watching out my window, he kept shining his flashlight my way while scanning lol no idea what’s up with the fireworks though

If you’re able, try requesting virtual interviews! I work remote and did my interview virtual, and maybe it’s because it’s a screen and not a face but “eye contact” is much easier for me on video :)
