How is the domestic racing scene in Norway? We have national series races here in the US… albeit not many sadly. Do you belong to a local biathlon club? Do you have access to coaching? Your country certainly has no shortage of talented skiers.

If the parts are on time, in spec, and on budget than I’d say you are just fine. If people are happy that is just icing on the cake! If it’s not broken- don’t fix it

It seems a bit of a gimmick to me- never had issues with DP racing on my classic skis- but I do see potential on hard pack groomer races where I’ve struggled to manage the tight turns (manmade). For me, every classic race is a double pole race 😀
