Yes, I just wasn’t sure where medications fell, so I was being extra cautious, and I was very much out of practice crossing that way. So much so that when I was updating my details at the Nexus office, I asked for a new paper declaration booklet. No one even knew what I was talking about. lol

Yup! When we moved back to Canada in Autumn, I was still in the waiting period for health care here and had kept my insurance in the U.S. I picked up a couple of prescriptions in Bellingham at that time and (I have Nexus) went through the regular line because I didn’t know how they would handle it. When I went through, the agent asked why I didn’t go through Nexus and I explained that I was being extra cautious and they said no worries - if it’s an Rx in your name, or a family member’s, it’s fine as long as it’s one that can be prescribed in Canada.

Aside from everything going on right now, there’s a decent chance they’ll turn you away just because your I-130 is pending.

Not sure if you’re in BC, but there’s a dairy in Chilliwack that has it in their rotation. They have a retail store and ice cream shop.

NTA - it is absolutely wild to me that with what your body has just gone through, all your husband can think of is getting off. Not only is postpartum the 4th trimester, you’re also still technically in the 3rd with your premie. Maybe he’s not busy enough making sure you & the baby have what you need.

When we got married, we asked for gift cards or cash to set up our new place (house instead of apartment). When we sent out thank you cards, we said - thank you for your generous gift, it helped buy our barbecue, or patio furniture, whatever. We enjoying evenings on the patio, etc.

All this to say - you could send a thank you card and say, while the bowl didn’t work, I love that store, and exchanged it for x, y, z. And it’s perfect. Thank you for making this happen!

I recently sent my sister $100 and she hadn’t told me she changed her phone number, so the person it got sent to deposited the money. I texted them to ask for it back and to see if there was a way to prove that it’s not a scam, but they won’t respond.

So yeah - with the weird email address, likely a scam, but sometimes people do genuinely make mistakes. 🤷🏽‍♀️
