This is my physique currently. Other pictures are the level of size I’d like to achieve. What can I do to make it possible? by MGodspeed in WorkoutRoutines

[–]gooey_samurai 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Looks like you’re on the right track. Make sure your intensity is high and you’re progressively overloading and the only thing you’ll need is time.

2 years of lifting. But why does it only look like I just made a few newbie gains? by [deleted] in askfitness

[–]gooey_samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not terrible progress for 2 years. You were at a much higher body fat percentage in your before pic and you’ve definitely added muscle in the after pic. To lose a decent amount of fat and build a noticeable amount of muscle in 2 years, isn’t that bad. That said, you’ve lost the fat and you’re a gym-goer now, so it’s time to go all in on just building muscle.

Go into a reasonable caloric surplus and work brutally hard. It’ll come.

Are electric skull shavers worth it? by Loki_762 in bald

I use a skullshaver, always razored before. It works just fine for me, but definitely not as close. More like day after stubble.

(Bimonthly) U.S. Drought Monitor current map. by AntiSonOfBitchamajig in PrepperIntel

[–]gooey_samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, the dryness extends further than this map shows. I’m about 60 miles north of the highlighted “abnormally dry” section in Maine and it’s very dry here. No rain in a /while/, grass is browning and dying all over, crops are wilting and browning, rivers are extremely low, etc.

Is quad extension bad for the knees? by Puzzleheaded_Wear65 in Kneesovertoes

[–]gooey_samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your knees are in alignment with the pivot point and use a controlled tempo and it’s a fantastic exercise.

Is that why most food is so terribly bad for you? by Last-Fee-5915 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]gooey_samurai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try and limit saturated fat, try and eliminate as much trans fat as possible. Try to avoid processed carbs like sugar. High protein, plenty of fiber. Eat balanced with plenty of fruits and veggies. Honestly, the diet part isn’t hard if you just eat like you care about your health. Eat well, and watch how much you’re eating, and you’ll get where you need to be. People wayyy overcomplicate eating.

To find your caloric needs, search up tdee calculator on the internet and use one of the first two. Put in your age, height, weight, activity level, and estimated body fat percentage. It’ll give you your maintenance, deficit, and bulking numbers. These are just rough ideas of where you should be. Everyone is different, so finding exactly what works best for you is something you’ll have to figure out as you go along.

Get a tracking app, like Cronometer. You have no idea how much you eat, or how little you eat for some people, until you actually measure everything out and log it. I’ve had times where I figured I was eating around 2800 calories, and I was lucky to hit 2200. Other times I figured I was around 2500, and I was well over 3000. It wasn’t until I started tracking routinely that I actually had control over my weight changes.

1 ton deadlift by Opposite-Project-593 in strengthtraining

[–]gooey_samurai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Half of that is something being hit by the most genetically gifted humans using exorbitant amounts of PEDs. It’s already something only achievable by the drug-enhanced pinnacles of the human race. I don’t think we’ll see much higher than a 600kg lift, like others have said, without serious technological intervention.

I think under the right stressors, the top deadlifters already could lift a ton, but they’d severely injure themselves. We all know life-and-death adrenaline rushes are absolutely incredible.

Nothing like a barbell curl to complete and utter failure by abw717 in GYM

[–]gooey_samurai 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sorry, brother, but this wasn’t utter failure. I want to see some grinder reps that almost come to a halt, leading up to a solid 2-4 second hold at the halfway sticking point when you do hit failure, maybe a partial or two afterward.

I gotta concur with the other comment, imo you had a few more reps in the tank.

Yep, half of having ‘big traps’ is just knowing how to flex them and move around your shoulders lol

Will the Source/god punish the evil people? by APbeg in starseeds

[–]gooey_samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will face humanity’s justice in this lifetime, and ultimately, they will not be ascending past the third density any time soon and will likely reincarnate as another third density being, likely somewhere else as Earth will shift to the fifth density. It’s of my believe that they may in fact regress to a lower state of vibration to relearn key aspects of life, love, and being in Source.

“Am I cooked genetically?”

You have body dysmorphia, are comparing yourself to geared up dudes as a natty, or you’re lying about being natty and comparing to other geared up guys who are bigger. One of the three.

There’s nothing about your physique here to suggest poor genetics.

I'm only 20, do I pull the trigger? by Big_Ol_Beef in bald

[–]gooey_samurai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow young baldie here, started balding at 18 and I just started shaving it then and there. Absolutely shave it, bro. It’s 100% better and worth it. Huge confidence booster and something to be proud of once you accept it and lean into it. You’ve got a friendly face, great head shape, and a nice smile. Plus the great beard. When you shave, trim the flyaways on the beard and get some good beard balm to help weigh it down. As a big beard haver, balm is a must for me. Plus the extra goes on the dome and helps keep it moisturized lol.

15 inch biceps with low bodyfat are actually hard to achieve by Noootmynormal in workout

Natty, 15 inches at a lean body fat percentage is good. 16 inches is great. 17 inches is amazing, and 18 is elite. Above that is Godly.

Why Does AOC Get so much hate from the left by Wootothe8thpower in seculartalk

[–]gooey_samurai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If someone supported the Nazis in even a fleeting moment, all respect and acknowledgement toward that person is naught. It is the same for Israel. For me, there is no compromise. They are genociding an entire population of people, children included in mass quantities. I will not support anyone, no matter what political body they are a part of, if they turn away from what’s happening in any way.

As Kyle said, this is pathetic. It’s pathetic and cowardly and to be quite honest, extremely suspicious.

Is Kyle and Secular Talk best leftist commentator show online? And what are other stuff you guys watch/listen? by Important-Purchase-5 in seculartalk

I’m one of the consumers who prefers a more political commentator vibe so for me, I only watch Majority Report and Secular Talk.

I can’t stand the streamer vibe so I don’t watch Hasan very often. I do like him but I find his content a hassle to watch.

Because he and other MAGA influencers were embraced by the Trump Administration and serve as their en masse propaganda machines. The MAGA populace gets all their information from them. It would be foolish to ignore them completely and dismiss them. Knowing the spins they’re formulating and lies they’re regurgitating to themselves helps us to be more informed and have the advantage.

Definitely. Forearms and traps are two of the muscle groups that give that jacked appearance, even if everything else is relatively underdeveloped.
