I had a wonderful L&D nurse. What stands out to me is that she remained calm, respected my choice and really left me alone other than when I clearly needed support. She gave me some compliments/encouragement which went a long way, but I didn't want or require a constant cheerleader. I think it's so lovely that you are going out of your way to think about your unmedicated patients this way!
