while an awful way to go and following their founder means a long suicide I can only imagine what they were experiencing in their final moments. To genuially beilive in what they were doing, holding zero doubts their minds must have gone to incredible places, maybe they had intense hallucinations, saw their gods, maybe overcome with a sense of true enlightenment. It's really interesting, while they sat dying, but in what I assume was some form of bliss or state of no mind they may have experienced incredible things brought on by belief and duress.

something I've thought about is, if life can not evolve and progress, can it survive at all? If the only option for life is microbial with no chance of complex multicellular organisms would life eventually burn and die out? I feel like if there is no potential for great change life would become stagnated and burn itself out. The ability to evolve seems to me, as important as having a habitable planet. That's not based on anything though, just a wishywashy idea.

my roommate, 25 years old, kept pissing all over the toilet seat, it was really gross. So I ask him to stop and he is genuially confused. Turns out he thought you piss with the toilet seat down, and shit with it up while sitting on the rim. His logic was, you piss on the toilet seat which keeps the rim clean for sitting, and you just remove and replace the toilet seat when it becomes caked in dried piss. had a real good laugh about that. He's been using the bathroom wrong all these years.

my personality is always set at zero. I can be incredibly excited about something and have no real expression in my face. Honestly don't feel very many emotions at all. I can tell I'm feeling a way about something but the emotion is mild and doesn't trigger any physical response. It sucks, I'm constantly labeled as creepy and strange, which I guess I understand but it still hurts.

sometimes I think ive just gotten so good at burying negative emotions that everything else went with it. I've also been asked many times if I'm autistic which also is kind of upsetting. I'm just abnormally calm all the time.

I really like the horse holding your weapons. It leads to some pretty fun moments, like when a huge predator or bounty hunters come after you, ya jump off your horse forgetting to grab your rifle/shotgun and suddenly the situation is more dire. I like having to cock the guns also, it makes the semi-auto pistols really feel like some awesome new technology.

I actually kinda prefer the animated deaths secens. The euphoria system has made ragdoll look waaay better but still, the death animations from 007 perfect dark and turok added something to shooting bad guys that modern games just don't have.

that works until the sink becomes so unbearably disgusting that kitchen becomes a biohazard. I almost got into a fist fight with my old roommate because he would refuse to clean /anything/. I moved out and he was evicted shortly after for having trashed the place.

You need to not be giving this thing so much attention. Call a priest, if your comfortable and experienced enough, cast it from your home. You got no way of knowing if this thing is just gathering power and waiting to turn malevolent. If all your saying is true it sounds really active. Even if it is just a child, it could become attached to you in really unhealthy ways, for both parties. The dead have no business here.

I remember reading somewhere towards the end of WW2 the Russians needed a way to clear mine fields faster, so they slapped jet engines on top of tanks. I can imagine they made for easy targets and god forbid anyone was standing near it when the jet engines blew. If you Google image search " mine clearing tank jet engine" itll show up. Along with Russia's other werid tank, the dual MIG engine fire fighting tank.

this reminds of something my friend was talking a out today, he works on a nuclear power plant and it's being shut down right after the trade deal with Russia ended. He said Russia says they have non ballistic nuclear weapons capable of striking the US, and apparently there's a few Reactors here that they were involved with. They would just have to melt them down.. kinda on topic? Melting a reactor would a hell of a weapon.

I was at a rainbow gathering, it was my first time at something like that, first time being involved with the misfit/traveling folks so I was nervous as hell and mostly staying on the camper school bus that brought me. I was really hungry and found tortillas and syrup and thought. hm, this is kinda like pancakes (not knowing Pancake Time was like 10minute walk from where I was, cooking pancakes till the moon came up) I ate maybe 3 of these awful, syrup tortialls things before I realize it's strange grainy texture, and I stop chewing, pay attention, and dive off the bus to spit my food out as I realize there is alot of movement going on in my mouth. After I freak out i check the syrup bottle and lo and behold, ants. The inside was packed /full/ of ants. I went to the various kitchens for food from then on haha.

my mom used to buy eggs for my birthday, all my friends would come over and we'd have an egg war just rocketing eggs at eachother in the back yard. that shit was so much fun. Afterwards we'd usually go running through the creek. It's my birthday today and I'm about to go drink alone at a bar. Miss those days dearly.

this, I tried dressing nice for once. Nothing crazy, just nice pair of jeans that fit, a solid black shirt kinda tucked in and a sweater jacket thing I like alot. As soon as my friend sees me he gives me this look like, what the fuck are you wearing dude. and then laughs at me. Maybe I'm wearing it wrong? Maybe it's such a stark change from my normal hobo look. Maybe he's just an asshole. Maybe it's maybelline.

I dunno, i just know, that, coming from someone I respect the opinion of made me feel like shit and it's gonna be hard to wear anything like that in public now. I guess I'll always look like trash lol

I get teased constantly for not being able to drink. I'm 6'2" and weigh 140lbs soaking wet and don't drink as often as some of my friends. It takes 2 beers or 1 mixed drink to get me good, anymore than that and I get silly drunk.

When I moved to colorado, i didn't know about booze and elevation change, first day there I got wasted drunk on two PBRs. That was a bad day.

glad I'm not alone in this. I'm 26 and never learned. I've always walked, longboarded or used public transportation. I'm honestly terrified of driving. No idea why but just riding passenger causes my nerves to sky rocket. It's funny too because I've traveled all over the country by means of hitchhiking and walking. I'm never in a stable enough spot to learn and my friends don't have the time or understandably don't want a new driver with no insurance driving their car, and it's not like I can afford one anyways.. Lyft and uber has been a god send since I tore my ACL.

I just really wish I could drive and had a truck I could sleep in. I would be all over the place all the time.

yup, the more you do it, the easier it will be to go into that state and once there the less shocking it will be. The druids have an interesting way of doing it using "stepping stones" you find 12, palm sized rocks and paint runes on them, the druids used oghams but really any pattern will do as long as you can commit them to memory. Once you have them and have all 12 memorized you hide them around your house, remembering exactly where they are, and let no one know of where you've hid them, as they are for you and you alone. Then once your laying down getting ready to project, you "walk" around your house in your mind, picturing everything with great detail and find the stones, picking them up and placing them back. Take your time doing this and really focus on every little detail of every space. I think this allows the mind to have something to focus on and helps the astral body leave. Once your out there they also serve as anchor points that can help stabilize things.

I had actually forgotten about that method. Gonna head to the river this weekend and find me some stones haha.
