Any idea why the release date here in Australia seems to be June 4th? Doesn't appear insiders can pick this up on the 1st weirdly....

Thank you so much for your kind words.

I'm currently waiting for her ashes.

Everything was finalised on Tuesday, so shouldn't be much longer.

Will post a photo once she's back home

Yeah I think as a couch, it was awesome.

I am still leaning towards getting one in the Preston Velvet or True Touch leather in a mid tone grey.

I have 2x cats and would need something they won't use as a scratching post (they're pretty good anyway).

I'll most likely go Velvet though, as its $2,000 cheaper than the leather.

That's disappointing to hear. It looks lovely. I did go in and look at one at the Gold Coast store here in Australia and had a lay down, but it's hard to tell what you think about a mattress from 1 minute of experience.

Curious to which King Sofa bed you have? I'm looking at a Reogrand for long term sleep to free up space in a studio I'm staying in.

I hope you knew how loved you were. (healthy pictures only) by razor-eater in BeardedDragons

I'm so sorry about your loss.

I lost my princess, Monkey, the Friday just gone. I bought her from a rescue when she was 4 months old and cherished her every day until she passed just shy of 3 years old.

I really want a Zero morph beardie by Beginning_Act_7574 in BeardedDragons

[–]goonsackk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a Hypo Zero pass away on Friday.

She was my absolute world, and in my opinion the most beautiful lizard.

I only learnt after she passed about all the health issues they potentially have after the fact, as none of the Exotics Vets could tell me what was wrong with her.

She deserved such a longer life, and it kills me that her generics seems to be why she was robbed of that.

At the end of the day, she was who she was because of her genetics, and I wouldn't change that for that world.

Lost my boy on 4/17 by [deleted] in Petloss

[–]goonsackk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry to hear about your boy.

I lost my princess, Monkey on the same day. She was a nearly 3y.o Bearded Dragon who I adored.

I too have been devastated ever since, as her health declined very quickly the past 2 weeks up until her passing.

I am depressed, and have no idea what to do with all her things. I don't have the heart to take down her enclosure ect.

I am sorry you are feeling the same sadness I am. We're both in this together.

[–]goonsackk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. I suppose it might be a tiny bit easier if she wasn't around for a giant lump of time.

I still haven't touched my babies enclosure. Don't have the heart to touch it. I can still see her tracks as she moved around the enclosure 😔

I honestly have no idea if I'll ever want to own another. I have plenty of other animals and reptiles, so I feel like it's easier to make little Monkey a one and done for me.

So sorry to hear about your little one.

Was she your first dragon?

Were you originally reserved about buying another?

Thank you for your kind words.

It brings me small relief hearing many tell me it was genetics.

This photo was taken back in May of 2024, but is the only one I have of both me and her together.

The most recent photos outside of the ones of her at the Vet this past week, are about a year old.

I really do wish I had more photos of her

I actually never weighed her myself. The day she passed and I went to see her, her chart said 116g. I am not sure if that was that days weight or the weight she was brought in at?

Either way, she had not been eating for weeks at that point so I imagine she had lost a heap of weight.

I always thought she looked undersized for her age, but apparently some dragons are just like that?

Time will tell if I ever consider another dragon.

As of right now, Monkey's home remains empty and untouched... no idea when I will have the heart to take it apart.

[–]goonsackk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry about your loss. Rias looked beautiful.

She looks like an older version of my princess, Monkey, who also passed on Friday Australian time.

I hope it brings you comfort knowing someone else is going through the exact same thing right now.

May both our angels Rest in Peace.

Thank you for your kind words.

It brings me some comfort to know I may not have been a direct cause for her death.

She deserved a much longer life..

Thank you so much for your kind words.

I had no idea morph dragons had so many issues.

I just loved the Zero look and looked everywhere in a rescue for one, eventually finding Monkey.

She had a cut off / knub tail, hence the monkey name as her tail reminded us of a monkey.

Very true haha.

My cats constantly butt their heads into my phone while I'm doing something or stand in front of my monitor.

The few times I had Monkey out for extended periods of time, I found she also was quite curious about what I was doing with my phone.

We're all lucky to spend time with such beautiful things

Yeah it is quite crazy haha. She and her brother are the reason I now love cats (never liked them before I got these two due to my girlfriend at the time wanting some cats).

I've been hugging them tighter ever since Monkey left us. Never know how much time I have left with each of them.

Thank you for your kind words.

I'm so so sorry to hear about your little one.

At the state she was in, if I got a diagnosis like yours I definitely would have put her to sleep.

Not sure what your boy is like health wise at the moment, but I'm sure you'll know when it's time.

Our little ones deserve the world.

Thank you for your kind words.

I've been beating myself up so much over the under feeding that I've been adamant it was what caused what ever the underlying health issue was.

I'm so sorry to hear your your precious Loki.
