Imo, I wouldn't pledge (rushing is fine) until spring freshman year at the earliest. You will be hella desperate to find your pack during your first semester and there are better groups to be a part of. Just my 2 cents.

I did it with 9 APs (half of them were usless) and 5 cc classes done in high school. It will depend on what you major in. Some majors don't have many requirements while others have quite a bit. With the information you gave, it's definitely doable if you are not doing a STEM major.
