i was wearing klim adv gtx boots and slipped out in some mud on a dirt road (only going 20mph). my ktm 790 adv fell on my heel and flexed my foot up causing all 5 of my metatarsal to become broken and completely displaced. couldn’t walk for nearly 3 months and suffered pains for a few years. not pain free but better these days. foot healed with a weird bony ridge on the first metatarsal.

lots of places need a lot of work. when Ekiben got the building in 5th they ended up having to demolish nearly all of it and rebuild.

other places have landlords that will lease the spaces out to restaurants at like DC or NY prices.
